Default Moving default font file location?

Hai, I save all my stuff to my 8GB memory stick and use it as my mini hd so that my computer has nothing technically installed so is not slower. I am wanting to move the default font file location (c:\windows\fonts); however i can move the file to my memory stick however i don't know how i can tell programs e.g. ms word that the default font file is at my L:\fonts and not C:\windows\fonts.

    Any help pls?
