This gives me some direction of what I should expect to do. Give credit, learn, question and contribute will be my start.
This is useful for me right now.
Okay now i certainly see why there would be an application process here and it is actually a rather good idea allowing current members to decide on the new ones. Yet, one problem i have been having is that for the past few days i have been downloading scar, didn't work, uninstalling, re-downloading scar, worked, read some tutorials, got SRL finally, got the includes done, did more tuts, finally got scar all set up. Then the script problem started... honest to god i think this may be one of the only sites (or good sites) for scripts on the internet. Now i am a dedicated bot user so i will keep at it till i make it work, but i think much of the community that would thrive here is turned away due to the difficulty to actually make SCAR work. On one hand this is good, turns away the people you don't need, but on the other hand, people who get frustrated who could have been great scripters some day may be turned away due to the lack of ease in actually getting SCAR to work for the first time.
I have been thinking about how to make this easier for some people. Perhaps a buddy system where new members are given a member to watch over them, get to know them, send them a PM once in a while and help with learning all about SCAR. This may seem tedious to some members but i think it would really help the community here giving it a more personal feel for new members.
It's just food for thought
Nice post though, i'm doing my best to get all the DO's and not the DON'Ts lol
i need an instructor pl0x
hey could someone tell me how 2 get my srl ID No.

All I can access at this moment is Free for all Scripts, I originally came to this board to get some good scripts for runescape and for private use only, I was told that this forum had the best scripts.
I can understand the code a bit since I took 2 years of programming in school .vbnet and java.
I remember reading something about being able to see the banker/gatherer scripts after 1 week, but I don't see them. Do i need to write a script to see that section?
Nice guide, i think i'm going to apply next week.

Thanks BoreasThis thread was really helpful, but wow there's a lot to do. I have a question: I see a lot of peoples "monsters" as things like Chicken to King Black Dragon, and i saw one that was a "lesser Demon", how do i raise from being a chicken, to something better?

Also.
DON'T apply with reflection unless its fully backed with colors <_< which is basically making two scripts.
Current Project: Catching up on what I missed, re-writing some old includes I done in the past.
