Not officialy announced, but the official credits list of RS says this:

    Brazilian-Portugese Team Leader
    Marsel De S

Seems like we get a portugese RS now?

Meh..I would guess it will be in BRAZILLIAN since I doubt they would just put Portuguese as the next translation.. they would have taken Spanish instead I bet.

It's not a dialect wtf lol.

and er well meh i duno how to explain this in simple terms but like they call it "Portuguese" even when the language is not really that similar to actual Portuguese from PORTUGAL.

    Hint: Brazillian was in caps.

Just like Spanish in different South American countries has different words, expressions, and even pronounciations than Spanish from Spain, the same goes for Portuguese in Brazil. However, the fundamental language is still the same and so I doubt there would be too much difference in translating Runescape into Brazilian Portguese and into regular Portuguese, but I'm not an expert on the subject.

I would also like to point out that I think mastaraymond said he won't be posting in this thread anymore because he realizes he is wrong.

    what makes you say that?

and you're right, I understand Brazilian Portuguese perfectly but I can tell straight away that it isn't European.

I've never been wrong, if you read my statements. Brazilian people speak Portuguese. OFCOURSE It has different verbs, words and pronouncement etc. But I never stated that.
