Default Ok, I'm thinking of starting to script again!

I used to be a decent script writer before I switched to RSBot, but that was all learned through leaching and observing. I realize nothing was ever released by me, but that was because I didn't think that I could compete with any of the writers at the time, because it was all just rudimentary. Way back then, I wanted to get into it, and SRL Members was a big goal of mine, but I just didn't have the patience. I believe that I've developed enough in the past half year - a year, in the sense that I can sit down and actually work on something for multiple hours in a row. Now, I want to really get down to it, learn to script, hopefully meld into the community of writers and helpful people, and try out for SRL Members.

So, with that being said, my questions are these:

    A. Any specific tutorials you greatly recommend?
    B. Have the standards of SRL Members raised in the past few months (6-8)?
    C. What is needed in a script nowadays to get into SRL Members.

    A. I pro leechin's all in one tutorial
    B. Not really. They did for a while, but recently everyone realized that it was way to hard to get in, and there've been more Yes votes (compared to like half a year ago it's the same).
    C. (D)DTMs, Walking, failsafes, standards, and TPAs increase your chances. Along with a good attitude and decent activity. Btw- NO REFLECTION (Unless it is completely backed up by color), otherwise your chances greatly decrease.

    B. Yea I heard since I last applyed they have been a lot nicer on letting people in.

You use rudimentary incorrectly. It prety much "manners". Like he has no rudimentaries = he has no manners.

I mean rudimentary as is low/bad.

    Babylon English-English
    rudimentary
adj. basic, elementary, fundamental; not fully developed, immature

    Definition.

    Thanks for the info.
