    PvP...

    I'm just wondering if there's a way to cheat this system. For example:

    Two friends with combat level range go on a PvP world. One "Risks" 25k, but lets the other kill him, rinse and repeat for however long. Then they switch and the other stands around while being killed. Is the drop value enough to combat the 25k minimum loss for each death?

    I'm thinking there's a possible exploitation there.

    That sounds highly possible... I am going to try that out.

    I will post updates if any good news..

    Code:
    typedef int bool;
    enum { false, true };

    But isn't there a limit to how many people you can kill? I think I read that somewhere.

    I don't know but I killed many people with high item value (full dharoks etc) and I haven't made enough to cover my food even.

    Yes, but you have to remember, the longer you're outside a safespot for, the better your drops get.

    I've got no good drops, apart from an Ahrim's hood (0) and 3 DDS's in one drop. and that was me dds special-ing someone at random after I came out bank

    So I think the ammount of time outside a safespot is a big factor in the rewards. As fagex themselves have said:

    Several factors determine the value of the drops you can receive. These include, but are not limited to:

    Your Combat level.
    Your opponents' Combat level.
    The value of items you would lose on death.
    The value of items your opponent lost.
    How long you have survived in a dangerous area on the PvP world (continuously re-entering a safe area has a negative effect on your drop potential).
    How many players you have killed on the PvP world recently (if you kill several players in a short amount of time, the quality of your drops will go down).
    Whether you are in a hot zone.

    Drops will improve if you are carrying at least 75,000 coins' worth of items (or 25,000 coins' worth on a free world) that you will lose if you die - your three most valuable items are not included in this. To get better drops, your victim must also lose at least 25,000 coins' worth of equipment.

    Note that if you risk significantly more than 75,000 coins in items, your drops will not improve further, nor will they improve if your opponent loses 25 million coins' worth of items - the values are minimum boundaries.

    In general, the most important factors are the value of items you are risking, the amount your opponent drops and how long you have survived (ideally in a hot zone). A good tactic is to let your drop value build up by training in a hot zone for a while (which will be especially beneficial if you have some brawling gloves), then try to get a kill or two for a better chance of some good drops. Then you can go back to training to let your drop value increase again.

    Note that if you die, your drop value will temporarily increase to compensate you for your loss, but it won't get you the value of your lost items - it's not a sensible way to get good drops!

    It doesn't matter what you/they wear past the 75k amount for members and 25k amount for f2p. After this point, you're only throwing away extra money (if you die).

    if it helps any
    thats my drop i got like 30 mins ago i was wearin black d hide rune scimmy, plain dragon dagger, a d scim, zammy cape, rune gloves, and climbing boots, they had full inti and a whip, i was walking around finding to find someone to fight/watchign fights around 20 mins in the pvp near runescape's ge, and bank

    ALSO!!! i saw vids on youtube, where people would let eachother kill them with a glory on and they ended up getting a rune zerker shield and such. i think its based about the risk you make.

    PvPking is great if (as mentioned above) you stay in combat area, hotspot etc...

    For many people they tried pvp and gave up very quickly as they were used to the old school pking and so would go in and out of the wildy often. I have made some serious cash lately with pvp worlds and suggest it for all people with decent combat stats.

    Back on topic... I don't think it will be much of a money maker as when you kill lots of people your drop value decreases which means you have to get killed or stop PvPking for a while and then sit in a hotspot for a while before repeating.

    The one good thing about PVP is if you're a lower combat account,
    You can still get good loot.

    Best i've gotten is mage book (3.5M)
