    Default Al Kharid Smelter - Iron man

    Al Kharid Smelter

    This turns ores into bars, from Bronze-Rune except for Blurite. If there's a demand for Cannonballs I will make it do that as well.

    This script uses color, not reflection.

    Credits:
    • munk for ScriptResume (showCurrentScreen) and the idea for walking.

    Also, please tell me if there is an incorrect DTM (if it doesn't find the ore), or if walking messes up, or any other feedback which I can improve myself on.

    Top Progress Report:
    PHP Code:

    On a side note, I do not wish to compete with Narcle or whatever, I simply wanted to make a script since I was/am bored.

    I recommend only pausing and resuming the script if your using S.M.A.R.T since it will show a debug screen.

    Bring it on! Lets do it! Hehe

    Edit:
    Btw I think I mentioned it to you on IRC, but the DDTM color switching is brilliant.

    I'll check into that foxton (fixed as you read my EDIT), as for now I'm still running this but this is how it's going so far:
    PHP Code:
                      Al Kharid Smelter Iron man
    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    Player[0]: lussActiveTrueBronze Bars Smelted2422. bank
    Player[1]: brhiActiveTrueBronze Bars Smelted2408. leaving bank
    Player[2]: esteActiveTrueBronze Bars Smelted2408. leaving bank
    ....................................................................
    Ran for a total of 13 Hours12 Minutes and 9 Seconds
    Total Bars Smelted
    7238
    Loads Done
    436
    Useless banked times
    (caused by bugs in script): 1
    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    EDIT: Solved it, uploaded 0.01b.

    EDIT2:
    Bring it on!
    like Donkey Kong.

    Change line 246 to:
    SCAR Code:
    Ore2 := Ore_DDTM(2505017);

    EDIT: Or download 0.01c. I actually compiled this one first since I'm not running it anymore so I know it compiles.

    Didn't test. However, I like:

    DDTMs, Good ANTIBANZ0RPLAWKZ, Multiplayer, Custom Procedures, Walking (take blind click out, use ddtms or rrw [ftw]).

    Meh.. RadialWalk fails because FindSandColor fails for that area. DDTM's would be a challenge to find a good mainpoint etc and it would probably be a sand mainpoint and same thing, and this walking works decent itself anyways.

    Why can't you use sand as the mainpoint, then use cactuses, building edges, etc. as subpoints?

    Uploaded 0.02 and it lets you use pins. (It might have other updates that I forgot about too)

    I said before, the FindSandColor in SRL fails sometimes, because sand color varies a lot. Also, walking is working alright at the moment anyways.

    Nice script
    Thank you, and yes I don't find a blink click to be bad in this instance, since if it doesn't find it after it clicks there it will log out and nextplayer(false). I might add a slight bit more amount of randomness in the next upload.

    So try and get all of the possible sand color variations, and make your own autocolor

    I did it with the road at Karamja. It varies from bright green to very dark brown.

    If it's not broken why fix it?

    Instead of blindclicking, you should use a SOLID walking procedure. Ex/ RRW-DTMs-Symbols-DDTMs.

    im just wondering why you use sand colour when there are colours that stay static for the whole time you are logged in (and usually after you log in and out). what im talking about is the cactus colour...it is static and it is easy to auto colour

    And I do, the blind click is the failsafe

    Because it works? Hmm.. I might if there tends to be bugs in the walking or some other reason.

    Yes it is a good reason . Well the cactus was the first way I was thinking of.. but things just seemed to work otherwise.

    So now I will look through our IRC conversation and paste it all here.

    First of all, thats such an iccy main loop!
    SCAR Code:
    begin
      Info;
      SetupSRL;
      ScriptID := '900';
      ActivateClient;
      PlayerSetup;
      MarkTime(Players[CurrentPlayer].Integers[3]);
      If not(Loggedin) then LoginPlayer;
      Setup;
        Repeat
          FindNormalRandoms;
          Case Players[CurrentPlayer].Loc of
            'Bank'         :
              Begin
                Progy;
                Bank;
                EndBank;
                WithdrawEss;
              end;
            'WTA'          :
              Begin
                WalkToAltar;
                MMAltar;
                FindNormalRandoms;
                EnterAltar;
              end;
            'InAltar'      :
              Begin
                CraftAltar;
                FindNormalRandoms;
                ExitAltar;
              end;
            'OutsideAltar'   : NewWalkToBank;
            else SwitchPlayers;
          end;
          If Players[CurrentPlayer].Active = False then SwitchPlayers;
        Until(PlayersActive < 1)
    end.
    Now THAT is a sexy main loop :P. Not that theres anything wrong with yours, just something I saw that I didn't quite like :P

    Players[0].Strings[0] := 'steel'; //bronze, iron, silver, steel, gold, mithril, adamant, rune
    You could try adding an 'all' option. It could try smelting Rune, then Mith, etc.

    You can include change TotalBars, LoadsDone to a i = 0 to playeramount for your proggy, means cleaner code etc
    Loads can be .Integer[2] or w/e too

    And thats all I can remember, sexy script though :P

    I mean it searches you bank for ores to smelt, starting with rune. This way if you have a whole heap of various ores you can get them all smelted at once, rather then setting up the script for the same player for each ore you want smelted, it wouldn't be insanely hard to implement

    0.03 released, uses a record for the bars (I think I used them right).

    As for 'all' option, I may implement that in another version, maybe.
