Default is previous scripting knowledge recommended?

well i am about to start learning how to script using the scar compiler and have very little experience in scripting languages, though at school we are learning very basic things like "IF THEN ELSE" statements and such using REALBASIC.

i was just wondering, do most people that look at these types of things(and it looks like its written in Chinese to me) continue learning? With no current experience.

if you have never learnt another scripting language other than scar your post would be greatly appreciated here.

    thanks.

    No.
This forum is ideal for users who have never had past scripting experience.
Our "Tutorial Island" is extremely helpful and if you feel that you are finding scar scripting a bit too challenging you should visit the "Beginners" section first as it has many good tutorials to get you started.
Many of us (like myself) came to SRL and learned how to script without any programming background whatsoever so good luck to you sir ^^

REALBASIC? lol in my school they trying to teach us DarkBasic. shit sucks but no previous programming knowledge isn't required or recommended before learning SCAR.
