    Well you can't really guarentee a random every time... but i have done it where you alch like 300 items then cut a tree down... works most of the time.

    1. Stay on one screen (don't walk around and make the map reload).
    2. Don't do anything that triggers randoms for 15+ minutes.
    (You can still fight monsters, eat food, pick up items, cast some spells, etc.)
    3. Do something to trigger a random.
    (Bury a bone, chop a tree, mine a rock, etc.)

    The longer you go without triggering anything, the higher chance a random will pop for you.

    Hmm interesting I didn't realise anything actually triggered randoms after a certain amount of time. It would be interesting if an ex-Jagex member decided to let us know about how all the randoms worked

    thats what i was gona say, but that just gives you a higher chance. i once logged in by aubury (varrok magic shop) and as soon as i logged in i tried to tele into ess mine, and i get a quiz random...in litterly >20 secs!...

    waiting doing nothing nothing will provoke, and a mouse click or action will trigger....

    @Tarajunky
    yes but you think this would work for D Hally Quest? (the one that you get a random guy requesting assistance etc)
