Sup guys, my old computer isn't cutting it for me, and im looking to purchase ME a personal laptop, as opposed to sharing a shitty thing w/ family. I'm looking for one around $600 and was wondering if anybody could link me to one.

Yeah, 600 bucks isn't going to cut it for a laptop that can do what you want. 600 would work for a pc though.
Tigerdirect.com or use the Dell Build-To-Order PC/Laptop thing.
Best thing to do. Make sure you get 250GB+ Harddrive and 3GB+ RAM, along with a good video card!
NewEgg > TigerDirect... at least in my experience.
mormonman, I don't believe newegg lets you build-to-order a computer![]()
It doesn't... but prices have been lowest there for what I have bought!(1 PC, 1 Monitor, 3 GPUs, Loads of RAM...etc.)
EDIT:
Sweet deals...
a little over your price but sweet still!
I paid $400 for my Acer Aspire 5315 at Walmart..
Plays W.O.W. no problem.
1Gb Memory, 160gb hdd.
Comes with Vista, but I loaded XP Pro onto it. I'm not a Vista lover.
i like that HP, ill have to start saving now. anybody got recomendations for a flat screen monitor thats not godly expensive?

Just look on newegg for the monitor, they got all kinds, I just bought one 21.5" 1080p with HDMI in, so I can play 360 on it. It rocks, but was expensive cuzza the HDMI, and it's ASUS.
Pretty much just sort by price, and look at what they got.
AWESOME 300 parody.
AND then watch this cool RC car video I made, in HD, then watch the other vids I've uploadedProud owner of "Efferator" my totally boted main account!

Its not a beast, but for $600 you're not going to get a gaming laptop.

4 Gigs of RAM, nice 640 GB HDD, but the processor is not completely gamer, but would handle WoW and the quad would be a nice couple year future proof and handle that locking up iTunes. Integrated graphics though. And its available at Tigerdirect/Amazon.
Personally I'd save up and buy a re-conditioned MacBook, and run parallels on it - If at all possible!
Remember not to get too exited on a computer having loads of RAM, mine (laptop) has Intel Pentium dual core 2.0 Ghz and 3GB RAM, when CPU is screaming 97% RAM is chilling at 40's.
