Default Looking for mentor over MSN

    Hi,

I'm not having any problems with the pascal syntax for writting scar scripts but I do have a problem with how I should carry out various activitied in the RS world.

I am hoping that someone who lives in a similar timezone to me (UK) could add me on msn and give me some help with how to perform certain actions in RS.. for example.. how should I detect specific monsters and what are the positives and negatives of each method.

I know that there are some tutorials for things like this but most of them cover how to implement the procedure (what the different variables for a specific procedure are) and not why and when I should use that procedure and when I should use a different one.

If there are any tutorials that you think might help me with this then please let me know. Otherwise, if you are happy to help me (mentor me) then let me know and I'll P.M. you with my MSN. If you use AIM or summin' else instead then let me know and I'll set up an account for that.

    Thanks!

P.S. Here is a link to the first script that I wrote: http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthr...=42016?t=44979 It is a basic auto-dropper for use in both HD and SD.

As you can see I am comfortable with writting scripts but could have made use of SRL procedures but I am not sure which ones to use etc.

Sure, if you are in the channel.. It's generally just answering and asking questions...
