Hi
lol
i like this idea because i got muted for 5 days for saying how gay the new trade rules are!
mabye we dont need a bot?
everyone gets on at the same time and reports alot of people?
this idea just seems foolish because if we do so jagex employees new staff witch raises heat on those from srl
The irony of these plans to destroy Jagex is that we (the cheaters) only exist because they do. If Jagex had been defeated (before they changed wild, etc.) people would stop playing Runescape and cheaters would stop cheating/playing because it would become pointless. Of course the game would probably regain its popularity after some time (since the cheaters who ruined it would be gone).
My final point is that you shouldn't try to kill the hand that feeds you. You can snap at it once in a while to keep it on its edge but if you start planning for its demise, you are only ruining yourself.
I'm not saying that this plan would ruin Jagex. No single plan could do that. Nor is this post even a direct response to this specific plan. Just my view of the situation between cheaters and developers.
Someone said that they just began perming members; false, they did perms before, then started giving 10d bans, and yet again now they began to give perms.
I see... very clever idea.
Maybe we should just set up scripts with more anti-ban features instead.
[Sorry if this has already been brought up but it's late and I don't have time to read the entire thread]
I'm sure that Jagex has a way of filtering out automated reports. When you report an abuse, your account name is probably used and they could just auto-ignore all reports from that banned account.
Hi
I'm in love with the best girl in the world!
I agree with this, trying to destroy jagex would be a bad idea (even though I hate them for killing the game, I hate them almost as much as SOE) as it would make botting pointless which would render all the hard work that has gone into SRL and scar USELESS! (well at least for a while).
This is just my opinion, though I do like the idea of somehow just getting jagex back for some of the things they have done.

We had an auto-reporter a while ago that I ran on spare accounts. It was made quite a while before the trade updates; reported all of the level 3's at any given location for macroing (stuck it by a Yew tree; got at least 20 reports in per world hop).
I highly suggest that this is not done, though. The auto-reporter was an attack at other bots (the level 3's who couldn't be bothered to train to level 30+), not Jagex. This was because every Willow/Yew tree in F2P had at least 3, if not more, autoers on it.
If we make an auto-reporter, it would only give Jagex more reason to be mad at us. Not only that, but Jagex recieves the reporter's name along with the report. Assuming they're smart enough to make life easier for themselves, they probably can sort reports by multiple factors (including sending player name).
With this sorting, they can mass-delete the thousands of reports a bot can generate in one blow, essentially making this a waste of effort, and probably getting Jagex madder at the SRL community.
I would be absolutely against this. After all, "respect Jagex for the challenge they gift us" was one of the golden rules of SRL autoing, correct?
Just my (sin^2(x)+cos^2(x))*2 cents.
