    Default ~Color or Reflection?~

Poll to decide which is better/popular/harder.

I personally think Color is only for the skilled people that want to learn and use the real side of scar.

    Reflection is for noobs :P.
    Woot woot.

This has been discussed before, and will just arouse arguments.

Reflection! Walking is the most important part of a script.

Hey! How come there are no reflection tutorials???

Colour is FTW. It's easy to walk with Colour if you know how.

Technically you could say that with anything though.

I can pass my maths GCSE... if I know how.

But I doubt I'll ever get round to using reflection, colour is more fun

I like them both, but when it gets to skill, Colour = 100% mate.
Reflection does the hardest work for a normal scripter (Ref Devs excluded, they do awesome stuff), and colour can work even when the hooks are outdated.

Reflection is easy compared to Color when it comes to walking... etc.

I think that reflection just has a lot of shortcuts. You can do most things with color that you can with reflection, it just takes a little more skill. Color

    Color is epic .

Walking (RadialWalk) is verry easy with color, and reflection is more of a shortcut to everything that color, can do with more skill.

    Color FTW!

Reflection and Color are on par for me. I like Color because it's a challenge, but Reflection is deadly accurate. Well, not really deadly, but yea :P.

    Here we go again...

Color is for the people that do scripts for the challange, That want that little extra hardness into it!

Reflection is for the people that want Experience and want a stable
running script! NOTE: I'm not saying color can't be stable.
And btw, Calling Reflection for noobs? - I can script both color and Reflection
and i don't see myself as a beginner ? Sure it's easy but it still takes a Skilled
coder to make stable, If anyone argue with this, Then go ahead - Make a Global fighter like Echo fighter? You just said it was easy? Go ahead and beat it?.

Ohhright, You can't!, becuase it's to easy right

SO you guys are saying that reflection is better? Why do I keep on seeing that in all of those threads that people are complaining about how the script is reflection?

@Scriptwriters : So you want to make it hard on yourself and make a script not as good as it can be just because you want a challenge? Well here is a challenge. Make a really good and huge script (Eg. Lumby AIO) with reflection instead of making a small, bad script with color for the same amount of time...

What do you hope to see from this discussion that hasn't already been mentioned multiple times before?

Naturally people are going to have an affinity for what they're used to (color) and you're already starting to see that with the votes.

I use reflection when I want to get something done, but colour isn't so limited, I like it more

reflection is honestly just as good or better.. the only reason I don't like it is because hooks can get down..

walking is like sex with reflection ;D

The only reason why I don't like reflection as much is because I'm afraid that it might be more detectable.

    it's not..

if it was.. every rsbot user would be getting caught too..

    they're almost the same..

if anything rsbot is more detectable..

    I script for the challenge.

What people are confusing about reflection and color is scripting logic.

Not everyone could do Echo Fighter. But the hard part about it is not the reflection, it's the whole logic behind it. So when it color or reflection the to logic it's just as hard, cus it has nothing to do with Reflection or color. When it comes to finding then yes, it does make a difference. And finding things with color can be much harder.

Now don't ilude yourselves. Reflection uses IDs, but color can use ACA2, Scar Assistant, Autocolor, Radial Walking Aid, DDTM editor etc.

I preffer color because i find it more challenging in the finding of many things. I like the whole TPA manipulation and finding the best way to find a certain thing. With reflection there is no best way, there is just THE way.

So yes, to a point color takes more skill.

But not everyone here scripts for the challenge as i do. I can make most scripts with clo run as well as if they were with reflection, so how well the script run for me is independant of color or reflection. Reflection would just make it easier and less work for me in that case, which is not what i'm looking for.

If someone just wants a stable script, there's nothing wrong wth using reflection.

Well from personal experiences I think RSBot is VERY detectable.
and no it wasn't from running a "bad" script.
