    Default FAWG 2.90 sucks?

i have downloaded the latest version of FAWG (2.90) but when i try to get the INI file parser for the world prefix it doesnt save the file as worlds.ini the only thing i see when i click parse output its:

[18:13:17] Parsed output file using: INI File Parser

    and nothing...

i havent had this problem with the older versions of FAWG i use windows vista and i run the program as admin

I don't think you should degrade the FAWG program by saying it 'sucks'. Also why don't you just use an older version of FAWG, if the current version is not working for you. Try copying and pasting it.

BTW, when saving it do the following:

    1- R'Click notepad .
    2- ChooseOption('Run as administrator'); .
    3- Copy & Paste the Worlds.ini .
    4- Locate the original Worlds.ini .
5- Save the Worlds.ini you just got as Worlds.ini .
6- Let it replace it .

Of course it doesn't save the file as worlds.ini. It doesn't even claim to do that. You need to go into the FAWG folder, copy the contents of the file, and then replace your worlds.ini with that content.

If it sucks, why don't you create a better one?

Have you tried listening to the tips you've been given? After pressing "Parse INI file", look in your Output folder.

Well, I'm sure if you say it sucks that bad that you won't mind creating one that doesn't. Also don't expect any help from me.

Way to walk the talk Freddy!

    Sam66:

Try the same thing on another computer, if it works then just e-mail yourself the file.

I've got the same problem but no way does this program suck, it saves a hell of a lot of time and 99% that use it have it working like a charm.

when i put it as a .ini and press parse output, i go to my outputs folder and theres nothing there... i even checked if it was one of those invisible files () but not it wasn't

is there something I'm not doing in the options? at first the default didn't work so i changed the settings to ticked everything and that didn't work either >.>

hopefully you guys can help me?

If you are having problems with FAWG... MAYBE... This might be insane... but MAYBE you would get more helping going to Freddy's forums which is kinda the site that distributes and develops FAWG.

I dunno its a long shot but just MAYBE
