    Default Help With Linux :D

    Well I was hearing that Linux was pretty cool and all so I decided to download it (thanks to you guys on #SRL who helped me with that). So anyways I got it all put down on a CD and popped it in

    To make a long story short it seems to have installed correctly but I cant connect to the internet I'm using Ubuntu by the way... what I can't understand is what everything says. I can see this Network Manager thingy, but when I click it, it doesn't look right, and says 'Configure VPN'. I'm pretty dumb so dunno what that is but has anyone else had this problem?

    What network card do you have? (What type, vendor and such.)

    (Sorry for double post)

    Nevermind this all, I looked up the router and it is only compatible with Windows (figures O_o). So yeah... nevermind.

    The router should be compatible with everything, the network card might not be.
    If you still have ubuntu, type "lspci", and post the output here.

    bash Code:
    $ lspci

    I'm using the latest version that isn't beta (8.10), and should I be typing that into a terminal?
