Quite honestly, if SRL had a client like RSBot's, it would absolutely p0wn it. Until then, IMO it's about even overall.

I have made a shitton of money(RS and Realworld) from scar... gold trading from spinning bowstrings.
I have never been banned using Scar, but I hear reports of people getting banned using RSBot all the time.

    Ok... So
    RSBot-
    Pros:
    +Has userfriendly GUI
+Scripts are userfriendly, doesn't make noobs stare at a bunch of characters on screen for hours
+Is definately more fast than Scar
    +A LOT more scripts

    Cons:
-Have to manually download anti-randoms and anti-bans
-Retarded RandomBreak antiban that you have to have enabled to have a chance of not getting banned. Will Break you for 3 hours after botting for 8
-Overall takes a person with the brain of an insect to work

    SCAR-
    Pros:
    +Has a good programming environment
+SRL is a very good bundle that is downloaded in a pack from SVN, easy and fast
    +More programmer resources
+SMART almost makes it the same as RSBot
+IMO less chance to be banned, but biased since I've used and gained a lot from SCAR
    +Runs more efficient(from my observations)

    Cons:
    -SMART is still very buggy
-Requires HIGHLY advanced knowledge of computers... CTRL+F and replacing lines with Copy and paste is extremely complicated for 99% of botters
-Many scripts do not support SMART, hijacks mouse

    So yeah.

I like scar more becouse like 5 of my accounts have been banned for using rsbot and 0 with scar. I agree that rsbot is better for botting same time with 10 lvl 3 noobs, but scar is better if you want to be safe

Personally the only thing I see wrong with it is that when you minimize/maximize it the connection with RS cuts out for a couple seconds, causing scripts (the ones I use anyway) to stop/fail 50% of the time. Might be just me though, as I haven't heard anyone have any problems like this. I circumvent it by pulling SMART off screen without minimizing

EDIT: Though yeah, I wouldn't classify it as very buggy.

EDIT: Just remembered one more thing: Typing is buggy. I heard that you should be able to type while SMART is enabled, though that has never been possible for me. If I want to type I have to enable/disable SMART multiple times and hope it works.

SMART isn't very buggy, but it looks like clicking on smart gives strange signals to the scar client(I once accidentally clicked smart, and in the debug screen there was written 'Welcome to Runescape'-->while i was already logged in)

It works fine now, but there are still some inconvenient bugs -

You're a bit off there. Every script can work with SMART, although not all SMART scripts can work without (reflection).
I made a new script, check it out!.

SCAR is alot better than RSbot cause of the fact its on your system. you dont have to rely on the updates, cause it is mainly local. whereas with rsbot, to use any of it you have to update, with SCAR once you have the script, youre good

Mmm the only updating you have to do with RSBot is once a week after an RS update when you have to Go To Desktop -> Right click RSBot folder -> Click Update SvN -> Wait 20 sec -> Done.

Though, I have moved away from RSBot, only because SRL's reflection is now good and stable I make my own scripts for what I want to get done because SRL's combination of color + reflection gets the job done better than BCEL.

What? Just a client, a debug box and a few buttons and stats of the account with no area to write scripts?

    RSBot client

    - Can type while script is running, and if needed you can enable User Input and mouseclick something
    - 2 Clicks and you can get the IDs of whatever you want
    - Uses A LOT less resources (I can run about 7 RSBots using the 'Less CPU' option vs. 2 SMARTs with the FPS bar at nearly lowest)
    - Convenient Account and Script organizer (Though you could argue Scar's is just as good)
    - And, I don't know about you guys but my SMART is buggy (for instance, every time I minimize/maximize it it cuts off RS for a couple seconds, which sometimes causes a script to fail, or the fact that you have to click enable/disable like 5 times before it unlocks your ability to type)
EDIT: - The 'script writing area' is just as good with Eclipse

So yes, RSBot's client is much better

SCAR because I use it to auto on other MMORPG's.

RSbot is good because it can solve all the randoms, while at scar it took about a month or so for rev32 to come out. RSbot is quicker and more efficient.

    RSBOT can't solve all randoms.

i LOVE the rsbot client, it is the best thing ever and scar messes up on 3/4 of my computers. but i still like this community and all of the scriptwriters/mods/scripts so It depends... i like both

^^ Yeah what he said. Scripters on both are about the same(although RSBot has a bigger selection), but the community there sucks REAL bad. I was selling a guide, and I went first. Not only did this one guy CANCEL his payment, but he also LEAKED my guide!

RSBOT is what i use though i think Scar is safer. The community over at rsbot likes me where here everyone hates me basically lol.

    Your mothers.

Also, you need to pay for like every good RSBot script.

I find rsbot better since its more reliable and has better scripts/anti randoms, also its much easier to create scripts for it. only con is that it needs to be updated everytime when jagex updates rs client

Yeah, The Man's right. Pay scripts are only the half of it, there's such a variety and large number of free scripts that some are at least as effective as the majority of Scar scripts, while still maintaining a larger amount of working scripts.
