Angry Oh, God damn it. ( Virus help needed )

    Hey guy's.

For some reason, I have this Gay Virus on my computer. I think I got it from a fake Java website yesterday or something... But anyway, When I go to some website's it will mislead me to some pornography sight's etc. I need a solution to how to get rid of this annoying problem. Scanned my computer alot too.

    ALSO

I think it has messed up how I open file's & run Private Server's e.g 508's cause I select to run it and it get's rid of my Background icon's and just leaves me with my Cursor on the page ( shut down of the computer is required to get the icon's back).

Please help. Driving me to the edge.

And before you ask, NO. I wasn't on any porno sight's, That's what Zoo Weekly is for.

What you can't open? .exe-s? I had a problem like that after my ad-aware went crazy with my registry. It messed up the .lnk-s so I wasn't able to open anything. If this is the problem search in google for ".lnk" and try to find a website where you can download .lnk registry fix for your operation system. Or if you can't find I can search for it too. If the problem is something other then I can't help.

Yeah agreeing with the people above also, system restore ftw! (REMEMBER TO SAVE ALL OF THE STUFF YOU NEED THOUGH) Also, if you want to get rid of the annoying popups reaaaaly quickly, download the yahoo toolbar, takes less than a minute, there's an anti-spy think on there which is really quick and effective.

I would also have to agree on system restore but another great idea is avast home edition. Also you may want to delete all of your cookies.

Okay sir! Seems you have a Virtumonde variant. Though my tut is a bit outdated, feel free to read it, it pretty much says everything you need to do to remove it.

    Good luck.

You should try BitDefender free anti-virus, works really good so scan it with that and that should remove it, if its some type of spyware try Spybot Search and Destroy (It's free too)

Ubuntu isn't a program, it is an operating system...
If you're a Windows Power User, this guide will help you set it up.
