    Default Runescape Toolkit about 50%

Just thought I might announce that the Runescape toolkit I'm making is about 50% of the way done (till beta release). For any of you who don't know what I mean check out RSAngel or RSDemon.

I'm aiming to improve on RSDemon which used to be the best toolkit before it was discontinued quite a few years ago, the difference is I am putting a lot of time into making the data editable by people with or without a programming background so that anyone can give a hand. Once I have the beta version out and am happy enough with how the program is functioning I will be releasing the source code so those with a programming background can lend a hand improving it and adding features.

At the moment my intention is to release the toolkit on these forums only to generate some extra traffic for SRL.

I won't give a deadline for the beta release as at the moment I have academic commitments to meet as well but I will do my best to get it completed and released for SRL to enjoy!

    EDIT:
For those who have programmed in .NET:
I am programming this in vb.net 2008 and am currently working on the data editing
part of the toolkit which allows non programming users to edit the skill files. The
most time consuming part of this so far has been coding the datagridview to allow
custom drag/drop rearranging of columns and rows. I am aware column drag drop
was built in but I had to recode it to allow certain columns to be moved as pairs!

Nope. Both are toolkits, not clients. rscangel.org is not affiliated with the RSAngel toolkit.

I wont argue with that! I don't have the time to learn C#.net at the moment but when I eventually do I will most likely convert the source code to C#. Not a big job either considering how similar the .net languages are!
