    This guide was written by me and posted on sythe, incase anyone wanter to accuse me of plagorism. I am Posting it on here for the benifits of the community.

    JOSH5498's WILDY PWNING GUIDE.



    This guide has been created after many years of posting, reposting, updating and changing. I will countinue to update.

    Before the guide here is a map to show many of the important location's you will need to know.

    Because the image is so large to view it you will actually need to save it.



    Picking A Name.
    Well before you even attack a monster you have to make an acount. Your acount name should recognize that you are a pure. You should not mimick any well known pkers. This will not give you respect. People will just see you as a wannabe. Think of an original name that appeals to you.

    Picking A Pure.

    This is one of the hardest parts. Think about yourself. Range pures don't need as many quests. Range pures tend to be cheap to pk with. Where as melee pures require a great amount of quests espiecally Rune Pures. Melee Pures have more wepons to combo with and a decent potential for high accurate damage. To hit 40+ a crossbow with range is costly.


    Wilderness Techniques

    Death Dot or DD: Everyone on your team stands on the same square.

    Death Dance: Everyone snakes the leader follows the last person. Makes it so Teams can't tell leader.

    Snake: Each person follows the last person in line.
    Fall In: Follow the leader.
    Pile (username): Everyone attack The person name said.
    PJ: Pile jumping. Attacking someone after they make a kill or whilst they are fighting someone else.
    Farcasting: Casting an ice spell and attacking your oppenent from where they can not attack you. (Smarter then the people who don't use 2 styles.)

    F2P Pures.

    Mage Pure
    Mage lvl: 1-59
    Combat Lvl:3-45
    Hp:20-50

    You can raise other stats as long as they dont raise combat lvl.

    Mage pures are very nice at around 20 combat as they can 2 hit people. There cheap to pk with. Deal Great damage but also take great damage.



    Ftp Ranger Pure or Tank
    Range:1-99
    Combat:1-100
    Hp:10-99
    Def:1-99
    Prayer:1-44

    U can raise Mage to 25 as it won't effect ur combat and it will allow u to teleport incase of emergancy. Which you should only do if your pking past 10 wildy.

    Rangers Are very accurate hitting rapid 17-18's with 99 range.

    Wear for 1 Def: Highest level range chaps and Vambs,Coif,Leather body,Normal boots, Highest level arrows.

    Wear for 40+ Def: Full green dhide or switch to rune chain rune full helm and dhide chaps Or dhide body rune full helm and legs.



    Range 2her Or Range 2her Tank
    attack:40-99
    strength:60-99
    Defence:1-40
    Prayer:either1,28 or 44 for rangers prayers
    range:60-99
    mage:25+ for teleporting

    Wear: The same stuff as normal Range pures. Just Use 2her to k0 at 1/4 hp. As soon as u see the bow go to go up change to your 2h If you do this correctly you will shoot an arrow from yur 2her then hit with your 2her which is quick damage.







    Combat Pures
    There are many different types of combat pures. I'll put the most common ones down.


    Hybrid Combat Pure
    atk: 40-99
    str:60-99
    def:1
    Hp:40-99
    prayer:1-31-44
    combat:42-93
    range:1-99
    mage:1-99

    These are deffently one of the most commom type of f2p pure. They are cheap. They hit very high and k0 well. They can pk in deep wildy. They have the ability to bind people.

    Wear: I see alot of people wearing iron and thinking its gunna save your ass. Its not. Its more practical to wear wizzard top and hat and monk bottoms. Use an amulet of strength. Gloves and boots. Don't bother with a shield it just gets in the way.





    Rune Pure
    Attack: 40-99(need higher then 50 atk to hit through rune armor
    Strength:60-99
    Defence:40
    Hitpoints:40-90
    Prayer:1-31-43
    Combat:55+ anylower combat and they would not hit very high at all.
    Range: 40+ for dhide vambs.
    Magic:1-59 (Doesn't really matter because its kinda hard to cast with full rune)
    Very Decent Pker. Lots of high lvl rune pures. They have best f2p armor for decent def and can hit fairly high. They are nice to own mains and combat pures if there atk is low.
    Wear: Full rune, rune scimmy, Power ammy, Gloves or dhide vambs, Any cape security stronghold boots.
    Bring: 2H,Strength pot, rest lobsters or swordfish. leave one space open for shield to go when you switch to your 2her.


    Members Pures.

    Congratulations. You've gotten membership and ready to pk with the major players. This is where your going to either get rich or die trying. Always remember your ring of recoil.

    1 Defence Hybrid
    Attack:60-70
    Strength:60+
    Defence:1
    Range:Anything you want if its raised with cannon.
    Magic:1-94
    prayer:1-31-52


    This is deffently one of the most common members pure. They max 32-32 with dds special and 99 str. They hit high with dragon scimmy. They have the option of using both mage and melee.

    Wear: Monk or Ghostly robes.
    Unholy book.
    Strength Amulet.
    Climbing Boots.
    Mith Gloves or Combat Bracelet.
    Any God Cape.

    Inventory: DDS.
    Super Strength Pot.
    Super attack Pot.
    2 or 3 Prayer Pots.
    The rest sharks.
    Maybe an extra ring f recoil.
    Runes if you have them.
    Maybe I teletab.




    Granite Maul Blitzer(maul rusher)

    Attack: 50
    Strength: 75+
    Defence: 1
    Prayer: 31
    Range : 40 (Trained with Cannon)
    Magic: 82+ (Even If you have 94 Magic use ice blitz for delay.)


    One of my personal favourites. You don't spend much on supplies. If your decent your just paying for 1 ice blitz and a does of super strength pot and super attack pot. With 80 strength you max 30 with prayer and pot. You will cast Ice blitz Max(26)
    You will then run up and attack once then special twice as soon as you hit the first time. Max with maul and 80 strength. (30 x 3). say you Maxed you'd do 116 damage. Thats just with 80 strength and you'd only be around 60 combat. If you time it right all the damage will hit at the same time. This will usually destroy pures before they get a chance to eat or put on protect item. 82 mage can be pricing though.


    Wear: Ghostly Robes.
    Granite maul.
    Combat Bracelet or Mith Gloves.
    Climbing boots.
    Any God Cape.
    Amulet of Strength.

    Inventory: Teletab.
    Ice Blitz Runes.
    Super Strength and Super attack pot.
    2 prayer pots.
    The rest sharks.






    Range Pure
    Attack: ??
    Strength: ??
    Defence: 1
    Prayer: 1-26-44-52
    Range: 40+
    Magic: 1

    They are fast hitting and now have the k0 ability to match melee. With the release of the dark bow. Rangers can now max 96 with a spec. They also have rune crossbows to pk with. Either wepon works great for k0ing.

    Rangers have a load of wepons to choose from. You should choose 1 fast damaging wepon(magic short bow or karil crossbow) And a wepon that is slower but does high damage (dark bow special) Rune crossbow and a dragon bolt (e) or you can use the magic short bow special.

    Wear: Highest level d hide chaps and vambs.
    Your fast damaging wepon.
    Amulet of glory or power.
    Soft leather body.
    coif.
    Any cape.
    Climbing boots or regular boots.
    Highest level ammo.

    Inventory: k0 wepons if you have one.
    Range potion.
    Prayer pots.
    secondary ammo if needed.
    teletab if you need one.
    Sharks as food.




    Ancient Range Pure
    Attack: ??
    Strength: ??
    Defence: 1
    Prayer: 18-26-44-52
    Range: 70+
    Magic: 70+

    Basically the same as Range Pures except that they use ancient magicks to give them an advantage. They will usually use ice spells which will not allow meleers to inflict damage.


    Wear: Highest level d hide chaps and vambs.
    Your fast damaging wepon.
    Amulet of glory or power.
    Ghostly body.
    Ghostly Hood.
    Any God Cape.
    Climbing boots or regular boots or Ghostly boots.
    Highest level ammo.

    Inventory: k0 wepons if you have one.
    Runes for your ice spell.
    Range potion.
    Prayer pots.
    secondary ammo if needed.
    teletab if you need one.
    Sharks as food.



    Rune Range Tank
    Attack: ??
    Strength: ??
    Defence: 40+
    Prayer: 1-26-44-52
    Range: 40+
    Magic: ??

    They are fast hitting and now have the k0 ability to match melee. With the release of the dark bow. Rangers can now max 96 with a spec. They also have rune crossbows to pk with. Either wepon works great for k0ing. Have limited defence From pure meleers.

    Rangers have a load of wepons to choose from. You should choose 1 fast damaging wepon(magic short bow or karil crossbow) And a wepon that is slower but does high damage (dark bow special) Rune crossbow and a dragon bolt (e) or you can use the magic short bow special.

    Wear: Rune full Helm.
    Highest level dhide Body.
    Rune legs.
    Rune boots or other.
    Fast damaging wepon.
    Amulet of Power or Glory.
    Highest level ammo.
    Any cape.

    Inventory: k0 wepons if you have one.
    Range potion.
    Prayer pots.
    secondary ammo if needed.
    teletab if you need one.
    Sharks as food.



    Torag Range Tank
    Attack: ??
    Strength: ??
    Defence: 70+
    Prayer: 1-26-44-52
    Range: 75+
    Magic: ??

    They are fast hitting and now have the k0 ability to match melee. With the release of the dark bow. Rangers can now max 96 with a spec. They also have rune crossbows to pk with. Either wepon works great for k0ing. They have amazing defence against melee pkers and range pkers. Its good to have as high of defence possible so people can't hit squat through your defence.

    Rangers have a load of wepons to choose from. You should choose 1 fast damaging wepon(magic short bow or karil crossbow) And a wepon that is slower but does high damage (dark bow special) Rune crossbow and a dragon bolt (e) or you can use the magic short bow special.

    Wear: Torag Helm
    Highest level dhide Body.
    Torag Legs or dhide chaps.(torag legs prefered)
    Rune boots or other.
    Fast damaging wepon.
    Amulet of Power or Glory.
    Highest level ammo.
    Legends cape or Fire Cape if you have one.

    Inventory: k0 wepons if you have one.
    Range potion.
    Prayer pots.
    secondary ammo if needed.
    teletab if you need one.
    Sharks as food.




    Obby Maul Pure.
    Attack: 1
    Strength: 60+
    Defence: 1
    Prayer: 1-31
    Magic:?
    Range:1

    They hit incredibly high. Low combat level and easily k0 people. There is a hidden strategy to this. Wearing a Bezerker Necklace increases your max hit by 3-6 damage. You may say omfg im not taking something worth almost 4 mill into the wildy. Here is what you do. Do not skull. instead bring 50k-100k cash so someone will fight you without you having to skull.

    Wear: Monk Robes.
    Obby maul.
    combat bracelet or mith gloves.
    Beserker Necklace.
    Climbing boots.




    Range/Obby Maul Pure.
    Attack: 1
    Strength: 60+
    Defence: 1
    Prayer: 1-31
    Magic:?
    Range:45+

    They either will use knives to weaken or magic shortbow. If you decide to use a magic short bow spec at half health then switch to maul for k0. Having range enables you to quickly weaken an oppenent and sometimes catch them off gaurd with the maul. They hit incredibly high. Low combat level and easily k0 people.     Mystic/Initiate Pure
    Attack:60+
    Strength:60+
    Defence:20
    Prayer:1-52
    Range:??
    Magic:1-94

    Not very common but you see them enough to be in the guide. There basically just a 1 defense pure with 20 def and a few upgraded armor and wepons.

    Wear: D scimmy or Abby whip.
    Amulet of Strength.
    Full initiate.
    Addy Gloves.
    Mith Defender.
    Climbing boots.
    God Cape.


    Inventory: DDS.
    Super Strength and Super Attack Potion.
    Prayer potions.
    TeleTab if needed.
    Sharks.



    The Rune/Bezerker Pure.
    Attack:60+
    Strength:60+
    Defence:40 or 45
    Prayer:1-31-52
    Range:70+
    Magic:80+ (94 recommended.)


    This the hardest hitting pure. But takes a ton of quests to get everything you need. Maxed Rune Pures Hit 40+ with whip. There are also a great deal of items you can lose if you are a rune pure.


    Wear: Rune Full helm or Beserker Helm.
    Amulet of Strength.
    Rune Platebody or Fighter Torso.
    Rune Legs.
    Climbing Boots.
    Rune Defender.
    Dragon Scimmy or Abby Whip.
    Rune Gloves or up.
    Fire Cape, Legends Cape or Normal Cape.

    InventoryDS.
    Super Set.
    Prayer Potions.
    Runes for Vengence If you can use it.
    The Rest sharks.




    Dark Bow/Void Rushing.

    For bher or pvp worlds.
    Requirements.
    - Ability to use a Dark bow (80+ Range Recomended.)
    - Desert Treasure and 82+ magic.
    - 44 pray.(Protect prayers.)
    - Full Void and Ranger Helm if your 42+ defence.
    - Ava's Accumelater ( To Pickup Your D arrows most of them time.)
    -Telegrab Runes for pvp worlds
    - Glory
    - Snakeskin Boots, Mage Boots or Ranger boots if you have the balls.
    -Seers Ring, Ranger Ring Or No Ring is Fine.
    -Ghostly armor if your pure.
    -4 plus D arrows
    - Runes For Ice Blitz


    Bring.

    - All of the above
    - A Range Potion
    - A Few Prayer Potions.
    - Best Food You can (sharks+)
    -tele tab and ring of life if your in pvp world.

    Before You go in.
    - Pot Up
    - Make sure You Have Everything
    -Turn Special on.
    Warning: Dont Turn on your prayers before you go in because they get shut off when You enter.(turn of before hand in pvp world)

    When Your In.
    -Quickly Turn on Protect melee, Protect item and Eagle Eye.
    - Look for an oppenent that has low mage defence on but armor that your arrows can hit easily through.
    -Ice Blitz Him wait till the emotion for it is done and then atk. If you time It right all the damage will hit at same time and hopefully you'll have a ko.
    - If Their dead Laugh your ass off and quickly leave. (all the alcher in pvp world will say Nice or owned or k0)
    -If their not there gunna be pissed and u better gtfo.(the alchers will say fail and laugh at you.)

    Warning.
    If you kill a ranger and you see Dragon arrows in the loot list don't pick up because they may not be yours and you'll have a penalty. and you can kiss your void and dbow good bye.

    Only use Ice blitz because it has delay.



    F2p Multicombat low level wildy


    This is most likely one of the first places you pk'ed. It alot of fun and practice. Always make sure you have a team when you enter at 3-60 combat as pure teams will deal damage quickly to you. Pure Rangers are always great to have on your team as they hit fast and accuratly. 4 range pures will quickly destroy a pure by its self before you have time to think. Mage Pures are usful for hitting decent damage and stopping the oppenent from running giving the rest of the team time to finish him off. Meleers Are good for dealing high damage but not quickly. They take awhile for them to reach the target. Remember to always Pile. 5 singles fights against a team ain't gunna do much. The whole team attacking one target of the oppenents team at a time will effectively let you win most fights.






    P2P Multicombat Guide.

    Mages will literally win you your fights. Teleblock and ice spells destroy people. add the intensive power of 3 specials hitting at the same time means lots of chaos and pks for your team. rangers should range an oppenent deaper into the wildy. Where the rest of your team is standing farther back. Meleer runs up to attack you. The rest of your teams jumps in and they don't last long.





    Quests.

    Lost City (All pures apart from range pures and mage pures.)
    Monkey Madness ( All pure apart from range and mage pures.
    Horror From The Deep (All Pures)
    Desert Treasure (all Pures)
    Recipe For Disaster (All Pures)
    Roving Elves (Rangers)
    Dragon Slayer (Rune Pures and tanks)
    Lunar Diplomacy (rune pures and tanks)
    Fremmy trials (Rune Pures and tanks)
    Death plateau (All pures)

    Training.


    I'm just going to list a few spots that you can train effectively.

    Melee.

    Rock Crabs.

    A Well known crowded place full of noobs and cannons. Good for low level pures but will get annoying quickly. They max 2 and have 50 hp.


    Experiments.
    Requires Priest in peril and Creature of frankenstein started to access. Not Very Crowded and never any cannons.
    They Max 1 and have 100 hp and very low defence.

    Pest Control.

    A pures best friend. Always good xp to be had here.
    [Not that great anymore]
    But decent to keep low hp for rush mauler's.



    Range.

    Rock Crabs.

    Experiments.

    Ogres.

    Fire Giants.

    Green Drags for cash

    Blue Dragons.

    Blood Velds.

    Black drags for chance at the visage

    avansies for some cash

    If you have the cash Red chinning at monkey skeleton's.

    Tip: Go into the german world to cannon as there are less people. A good spot is the ogres east of castle wars.




    Magic.

    Alching all the way to 85 or 99. Then cast ice burst at Monkey skeleton's. Highly expensive but faster.

    Or You could use humidy and fill vials and make profit.

    Make Planks using lunar spell.

    Or you can try the mage training arena.




    Pricing out a pure.

    Pures Are very costly. If you do not have the expierence or money do not bother making a members pure as your just wasting your time and money. Here are some basic prices most pures will need.


    85 magic.
    Will cost 4mill+ alching but is extremely helpful. More money is required for 94 mage.

    Full Zammy book. ( Not Needed But Great bonus's) 1.5m last time i checked.


    3k+ monkfish for training melee if your a 1 defence pure.
    You could use lower food but you would need to bank more.

    THE POWER OF THE DRAGON SPEAR@
    Many People consider this weapon to blow, But with a decent pk trip of 20 people Your battle will be won. The D spear spec temporarly stuns the oppenent. They are unable to move eat and teleport or fight back. Imagine this. 15 people specing someone with d spear they are screwed.The d spear also has 4 specs. dam useful. With 15 people doing it they will have no chance to eat. so therefore ther est of your team just need to kill them within 15 seconds. Its dam funny to see and impressive.

    GETTING STUFF FROM PVP WORLD DROPS.

    Recently Person Vs Person worlds came out (pvp). It was a big deal for the first few days. But sadly many people did not give it a fair chance. Unhappy with the drops they stopped playing it. This guide will help you understand how you get drops and how to improve your chances of getting something nice so you can be a pimp.

    Step 1. Build your chances.
    Find a friend to do this with.
    Each of your will need 25k (f2p) or 75k (P2p).
    For mains use full armor and flowers.
    For Pures Use Wind strike.
    Basically your chances of getting good drops improve for every 30 minutes you spend in a danger zone and that increases even more if your in a hot zone or in the wilderness.
    You don't need to do 30 minutes in one sitting you can do 10 minutes leave and do 10 more. The more time you spend in the wilderness risking the amount needed the better drops you will get.
    Though every time you get a drop your chances of getting something good will go down.

    Step 2. Finding an oppenent.
    Your chances of getting a good drop also increases or decreases depending on your enemy's level. Try to find someone a few levels in either direction. Don't kill someone 10+ levels lower then you, chances are your drop will be terrible. For you to get a good drop your oppenent must be risking over 25k. the more they risk the better your drop.

    Step 3. Bringing enough.
    To have a good drop both you must be risking 25k+(f2p) or 75k+(p2p). The more wealth your carrying also increases your chance at a nice drop. Items you would keep on death DO NOT COUNT. Hence why 1 iteming is terrible. Make sure Your oppenent is risking enough. Don't kill 1 itemers people will LOL at you for failing.


    To Honor Or Not To Honor.
    That's the topic of my first rant. Since the wilderness was removed many players have been getting the idea that the wilderness was a magical place. They seem to think pjing was around very much, They seem to think 1-4 iteming wasen't common. And finally every single person i talk to say they don't have much money because the wilderness isn't around anymore. First of all i would like to state that it's not possible for everyone to make money from pking. In fact most people don't even break even. Secondly 1-4 iteming was just as bad as it was now. If you don't want to fight someone don't. I'll admit that pjing is worse now. But there is nothing wrong with pjing. If anything it makes you better. The new ways to pk are much harder to play then it was before. you cant simply pay attention to one person. you have to be aware of everyone and be ready for anything. Sure the wilderness was easier, more diverse but isn't as great as everyone remembers it. Let's be honest now. The old wilderness wasen't honor, Honor has never existed and honestly never will. Everyone is Unhonorable some times while they reliase it or not. Most of the time people just pretend to go along with honor because they believe it will earn them respect. But if most of you haven't noticed how many famous pker's actually pk with honor? Pking with honor makes it hard to earn anything. I'm not saying you shouldn't do 1v1 with no farcast or rushing and safing. I'm saying don't take it too far.

    After All Your Hard Work Hopefully you will reach some of your goals.

    Thanks, this looks like a really good guide! I'll definitely be using it to make a p2p range tank. The only things I would suggest are to spellcheck and to use a few more pictures. You could include links to pk videos, which you think would give the reader a better look at how different kinds of pures get their kills. Overall, a great guide, thanks for making this! :]
