    Talking Change in Random Solver

Yeah I just got a pretty odd idea, but I think that it could work.

I forgot the name of this random (it has spinning objects and its not Mr. Mordaut), but here it goes:
The script would convert the selected area where the items are spinning into a mask (black and white) and just monitor it.

While the script is monitoring the item, finds the minimum and maximum areas of the spinning object. Then it divides them (since each object must have different minimum and maximum areas).

When the script finds the ratio, it can just compare the ratio to a list of ratios and whatever ratio comes closest, that must be the object!

That was hard to explain, but I think this is much faster than the current solver that just stares at the object for 20 seconds.

    Any comments?
PM me if you need any help with math.

There are ways to provoke randoms.
    I believe this is one:

Stand still for ~15 minutes, then do something like bury a bone, attack a monster, cast a spell, etc.

    But JaGeX said this:
If you solve more randoms faster you get less randoms.

    Ok, I will try that.

If anyone gets one, can you take some screen shots please?

Hehe, you now know several of the randoms are solved!

    Its called scanning.

You repeatedly get counts of colours in the area, then, because each item is different, the area, density, w, l are all different per item.

Try checking out some of the plugin sources

    Ok.
I'll try to check it out.

So to get randoms, I go to a good autoing place and make a script that uses FindColor(), makes the mouse move win MoveMouse(), and does a loop?

Hehe, you may want to look into the new scripters section.
