hey i wasnt sure where to put this, but i just got the freaky forester random event, usualy i stop them and do them myself but this time i let it run to see how scar would handle it.. and it failed =S
it found and killed the right pheasant, which is good.. thats probably the hardest part for the developers to make, but then it didnt pick up the pheasants body and went back to talk to the forester and then left.Code:***** STR: FOUND RANDOM: 'Freaky Forester' ***** Forester: Kill The 4 Tailed Pheasant. i dont wanna sound cockey or anything, ima nub, but id kinda expect a failsafe right there in the script if i had made it.. i mean it could atleast check what the NPC is saying to see if the task just done was done correctly or needs to be repeated. it just seems like the hardest part of the script was done, and the only holes are the failsafes which seem to me like they should be relitivly easy (though probably time consumeing) to do.
and im not flameing on the dev's, you guys have alot of work set out for you, but maby more people should put down our personal projects for a bit and see if we can do a team effort to beet runescape together? im quite busy with school and stuff but i wouldnt mind helping out (though i am a nub) if theres stuff that is within my level of scripting. Im just saying this cause it dosnt realy matter how good our scripts realy are, if the antirandoms are weak we will be to.
