Quite honestly? That looks like a rip-off of the Eye Toy.

ROFL! "How many push-ups can Chuck Norris do?"

It looks awsome. Not an Eye-Toy rip-off, to be honest. This is WAY more inovative..

Heh, you guys must have missed E3?

Yeahh this is really awesome. There are some technicalities that I think it will run into, but it should be wicked. It's nothing like the eye toy. The eye toy was just a piece of crap tech that tried to detect your body's outline. This will be much more innovative I think. They already have this for a Burnout Paradise Demo. It's not just going to be a party/wii/general public thing I don't think.

There's too much to go wrong. Look at the beginning of it - there is a disclaimer saying it's just what they want to make at the moment. Not only that, but I doubt it will become that big of a thing - just like not all PS3/Xbox games are on the wii, not all games produced would support new technology like that. Similarly, the price tag must be massive on that to fund all the research and development that would go into something so complete as that (if it even gets to that stage). Lastly, if Sony thought it was a major threat then there would already be rumours of a PS3 version of it or a different, more advanced thing like 3D gaming using mini projectors or some other, crazy idea.

Oh, and I can see the main problem being that people will get mega pissed off with it. Playing CoD, for example, is tiring enough on the Wii while just holding up the 'gun' for an hour or two, but asking people to also do all the running etc to move would either actually get most people in shape or stop them playing. Not to mention I don't see how effective moving would be when if you turned around, you wouldn't be facing the TV nor would their be enough room to move around the whole level.

Not really a controller, but some of the features on it are cool, like scanning the skateboard thingy and mutliplayer (as in people in your house) play.

meh, it's interesting, and a step forward, but I don't really like it...I would rather have a hard controller in my hand, where I can tacitly feel what I'm doing.

And this is the reason you only saw simple games being played. Integrating a game like Call of Duty or Halo would be too hard both for Microsoft to implement and the player to experience. They're going to stick to basic types of games like racing and quiz show games.

Hence it being a fail. People with a Xbox 360 are hardcore gamers - they don't want crappy quiz games and I'm just as sure they don't want to share their console with their family. All they're trying to do is move into the family sector, but the problem is Nintendo will always do better there and the Wii has the ability to do a lot more games as it still does have a controller.

Exactly. I can't see why they would try to move in this direction when it'll be extremely hard to find a place among the Wii and its family games.

If they do manage to conquer it though then it would be epic win for them. If not, they can still use parts of it in other games and the like ie the 'skateboard scanner' for skating games, even when using controller, would be a nice attraction for irl skaters. I would of liked to see a backflip or grap example in the demo.

If they actually can make that work, i can't even imagine how fun it would be at some fighting games. ; ) And the videos at internet ''Guy played superfighter 232 and broke tv with his ninja kick by accident.'' Like Wii videos now.

If they really get that work well, i will buy it. That is sooooooooo awesome. i wouldnt even have to get my controller from the sofa, i could just move my hand and choose movie etc.

I would like to see some video from shooting games, if they can get it work with them. I don't apparently think so.

EDIT: Actually, i would like to see more about those fighting games. How does it go when enemy hits you? Or tackles you. Does the character just come up and start imitating the guy again, or how. This is interesting.

Wii is fail it costs more then a 360 arcade and compare graphics and most games. XBOX will always dominate Nintendo.

And this addon will be cheaper then a Wii and most people have a 360 so whats 200 bucks to spend instead of 380 or w/e Wii's cost. Also no gay controller . Just like sony's dildo looking motion controller Fail.

    so 360 wins at motion.
