    Default World of Warcraft script?

    Hi!

I started playing World of Warcraft recently and I had a few questions about autoing on it.

Is it possible to make a WoW script?

What's the best procedure to use for a simple color finding script?

Is it possible to auto fullscreen?

    Wtys in advance

Eh... WoW is an over simplified game itself (trust me, I've played it around 4 years) and its easier than it ever was.

Autoing for it would be useless and a waste of time.

But if you're still hell bent on autoing... there's a program called "Glider" not sure if its still around, but yeah. As for SCAR, not sure... probably not.

I'm pretty sure you can.. I don't think WoW is like MS where you can't (I don't play either but people talk about this stuff a lot )

    ?!

you will have to build your own function library there.
    compass angling?
    walking?
finding objects when there's like millions of colors on screen?

Nothing advanced, of course But you can make macros in WoW (I think? ) and you could use SCAR to use those macros better.. something simple :]

Back in the day when i used to play WoW i made a include for it like Login and stuff and i reakon its quite possible especially for walking because it tells you the exact cords of your position. Maybe object finding would be a worry.

It's probably possible if it doesn't make hooks on whatever API's scar uses to get color off the screen. I wouldn't do it either way though since they could even be hooking SendInput and checking if your calling it and set some sort of a flag for suspicious behavior. I don't know what Warden does though I'm just naming possibilities so auto at your own risk.

I would not use SCAR for this. I have used Glider a LOT and it was the best. Unfortunately it is currently shut down but in an appeal process to start back up.

If you want to auto WoW right now I suggest PocketGnome, however it only runs on Mac's because there is no bot detection on Macs due to Macs security to ram reading

I found an open-source bot of world of warcraft, ill get the link 1 sec.

Edit - This bot has 16 developers. I myself haven't tried it because I don't play WoW.

WOW'S graphics are extremely complicated... I doubt a color-based macro could work successfully.

It would be VERY inefficient to use image finding on an executable program, where you can simply check specific memory spots for all the info you need from the game.
