    It's explained on the first post under the Failed-Access Denied error.

    The example shown is on vista. When I right click and select properties, there is no "security" tab.

    Oh sorry, I didn't realize that. I have vista myself, so I don't know how to do it on XP. Try searching google for "security settings on XP" or something like that.

    Yes, it's explained in the first post. However, if you want to run a script for Runescape, you need the prerelease version (SVN), otherwise the script won't work.

    I tried installing SCAR from freddy1990.com/scar.php and I got the exact same error during the installation. It wont let me install this fixscar.exe file.

    Try disabling your anti-virus program. Some programs pick up that file as a virus for some reason.

    Norton seems to be the most common for picking it up as a virus.

    i keep getting this error when trying to DL the srl

    Can't create directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SCAR 3.22\Includes\SRL\.svn':

    Me either. I've done this plenty of times with no problems. :/

    there is nothing about it in the common errors so I posted it in the FAQs. Hopefully someone has had this problem before...

    If you get the "Failed - Access Denied" error, restart and try again. It worked for me.
