Error: Exception: ResetPersistentMemory: Bitmap is not persistent (FExternData = False) at line 124
The following DTMs were not freed: [SRL - Lamp bitmap, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The following bitmaps were not freed: [SRL - Mod bitmap, SRL - Admin bitmap, SRL - Flag bitmap, SRL - NavBar Bitmap, SRL - Options Bitmap, 5]

Keep getting this error every time i click on play script it starts up starts compiling.in cmd screen.and.when it.should open the smart client it says this error and then succssfully execute (My client doesnt even open)

    It also only can find the srl.sex - 0.1 and extension.sex - 1.0 but the apr.sex (third1) - keeps saying n/a
    In the vieuw?extension tab

My opinion.. because it cant find the third .sex file it gives this error cuz its the msi i need help.to.fix.this

Its not my first time i installed simva rs07 did it serveral time but this is the first time i got an error please helpme i really dont understand it anymore grtz kattepoot

Have the same error. I'm unable to get rid of it, so I just went back to version .99 until hopefully someone finds a fix for it.

Can't seem to use .99 either. SRL won't compile.

    Loading extension Extensions\srl.sex

Just realized I need Simba 1.00 to use SRL-6. Hopefully someone will find a fix to that error soon.

Here's the Error Log. I run Windows 7. I've also tried running it with my computer in safe mode.

Both of you -- are you running a 32 or 64-bit machine?

Could you guys also replace your Simba.exe with this one, and let me know if you still get the error.

Where did you install Simba? Make sure it's in C:/. I'm also running a 64-bit machine, and I've always had it installed in C:/ and haven't had any issues.

Alright, now I'm just grasping at straws because I can't think of anything else -- have you tried running Simba as an administrator?

i am having the same issues with the update of simba i downloaded it and now my simba does not work anymore

right now i have 2 folders the original simba and then the simba update(Simba-simba-1.0) do i copy or cut everything out of the simba update folder and put it in the orginal update? i see that alot of the folder names are the same but in the simba update there is no "Scripts" folder and i have the [SimbaDir]/Fonts/UpCharsEx in both of my simba folders

I would just open your old Simba version, and update the program from there. It'll do everything for you.

Very odd. Sorry if you already answered this somewhere, but does this happen when you open Simba, or run a script? This shouldn't matter, but make sure your interpreter is set to Lape, not Pascal Script (Script > Interpreter > Lape).

Those are includes. You want to update Simba itself. Go to Tools > Update, and go through the steps. You can delete the Simba-simba-1.0 folder you made.

It happens when I try to open Simba. I double click Simba.exe and bam, a command prompt window with a bunch of errors pops out. I don't even get a chance to change the interpreter to Lape.

Okay, since I've been basically useless, I'm going to get a hold of one of the Simba devs, and see if they can help.

E: Try this version. @Dgby714; is confident it's fixed in that version. Be sure to replace your current Simba.exe with that one.

Nope still doesn't work. I feel like I'm just being a downer... I wanna bring some positive news D:

I appreciate all your help though! Once we get this ironed out for me, hopefully it won't affect any future users!

    That's the idea.

Try saving the version in my last post to a separate folder, then run it from there.

    E: Try 1.0.2. http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106110
