    Default question about leeching

I am new, and I don't understand what it means to be a leecher. If I participate by posting after every download, and giving progress updates, but I don't post scripts myself is that okay? Im looking at all these scripts and I feel like it would take me days to figure out what to do...
    Thanks!

You don't have access to some great scripts yet, because you are still a registered member. As soon as you have been here a week and have made 10 constructive(note on constructive: not spam) you will be junior member-ed.

It would not hurt to try and learn. I don't know how old you are, but learning this stuff is a GREAT idea, and makes you 10000x smarter (in most cases.) I hope you at least try.

Be careful about posting after everything, as then you'll start spamming. I hope you understand what I'm saying.

    Have Fun.

Well, i have a list of tutorials in my signature. I'd suggest that you start off with (in this order):
    • Looking at Procedures
    • Ultimate Type Tutorial - A Must Read
    • Walking Through Variables (the constants part)

Then, look through NaumanAklaqh's signature for some "Runescape" object finding tutorials (DTMs, Bitmaps, Text Finding and Object Finding).

And now, after that, look in my signature again for the tutorial:
    • RadialWalking for Absolute Beginners

That should be all you'll need to be a good scripter (it may look big, but it's actually quite short. The quality me and NaumanAklaqh put into tutorials to make them easily understandable is big So you won't have a hard time understanding them )

    Enjoy

I learned most of what I know about SCAR scripting from reading other peoples scripts and seeing how they work. So if you understand it, try messing around a little to see what you can make! Good luck.
