I don't know exactly what it does (and as far as I know nobody else does either), but I suggest deleting it if you bot.

Not sure, not sure, not sure.

    You're welcome

(Really, nobody has a 100% confirmed idea of it. It's best not to mess with it).

if you go from botting to playing on your main legit, then delete it everytime you switch from botting to main or vice versa. just dont over delete it.

The file itself is just a number that they use to identify your computer. If you delete it over and over (as in every time you log in) they'll ban you really fast, but it's best if you rename it and switch between two random.dats: one for botting and one for your main. (Think of it like a cookie for a web browser)

Sorry i dont get completely what you mean. You rename the ''old'' random.dat in example lol.dat and when you visit runescape again it makes a new random.dat file on your computer and now you can switch between those 2 files ? Did i get that right

You keep one as random.dat and rename the other. When you want to change, switch the file names.
