SCAR & Private Servers

What's the general consensus on using SCAR with private servers? I'm talking about things as simple as clicking a color every X seconds to more complicated scripts that can cut and bank trees. Does it work as well, or at all, as using various scripts on regular RuneScape?

Its a lot easier lol, cause u don't have to worry about antiban. And can use clickmouse on private servers and stuff, plus can use coordinates..

So on private servers, it should be easier to code scripts? Especially for a beginner like myself since I doubt anyone wants to code things for me haha. Although I will always take some advice. I heard something about not being able to use SRL on private servers unless they look like runescape graphically. Anything to that?

SRL uses the most updated version of runescape to find gametabs, flags, etc. Because they are different between private servers and the current version of runescape, the routines needed to find them are different as well.

Yea it would be much eaiser but maybe some functions wouldn't work like sandstorm said.

So I would be missing some functions from SRL? Well are there functions native to SCAR that would be able to replace the functions I'm missing by not using the latest version of SRL? Also, how far back does SRL go? My intentions being of finding an older copy of SRL that would work with 317 servers. Thanks for all the help so far.

Srl functions aren't needed, scar is capable. just use co-ords
