    why was it moved to /core/ from /misc/?

    Because we found out that it was used too commonly to be in /misc/.
    Especially in association with S.M.A.R.T.

    ok so it needs to be changed in any scripts then?
    why am i getting this error?

    Don't include the file. It's automatically included when you include SRL.scar now.
