    Default My DTM's Stopped Working!

Last night I made a bunch of DTM's for different items in the game and now none of them work! I set the color tolerance to 20 when I made them.

Why would this happen? Is there any way to fix them or do I have to keep redoing them all? If DTM's are so unreliable, why does everyone like them so much?!

you probably made them incorrectly, you dont even need tolerance if you do it correctly, remember you trying to look for the shape not the color, thus you should use the black outline of each item which is a constant color, then a midpoint color with a tol or 25, or 422 (max tol) depending on if the dtm is for more than one thing or not (ex logs).

I thought the max tolerance was 255.

common misconception, 255 is a very high tolerance, and will accept most colors but infact 422 is the max tolerance for scar.

Oh, i wonder why its 422 seems like such a random number.

Should I use 422 to find any bar, or is 255 sufficient?

    255 is completely fine.
