    In ye olden days this thread had a topic, but since that topic is long gone I figure I'll leave my opinion atop its grave.

    It reads something like: "+1 posts are useful for discussions/debates since they arguably double the strength of an argument's support.

    Also, SRL has a pretty nice selection of mods. There's the stingyish ones (read: Wizzup and Nielsie maybe), and then there's the lax ones (read: Everyone else)"
