    Default where should an engineering question be?

    i am trying to either make a processor using fiber optic cables or something els that someone can come up with(please be anything brand new and needs refining or something that hasn't been made but is still possible.)

    so post them here or tell me a better spot to make a thread.


    but im looking on what sites and places i can post it on to get some good ideas.

    figure out a better way to store electricity

    figure out a good way to cut pre-stressed pipe with a diameter of >4" and thickness of >1/4". The tricky part is you need to separate the two without causing any damage to either of the two faces of the pipe you just cut, remember, it's pre-stressed, so when you get towards the end of cutting it will act like a spring, and slide/jolt apart, causing scratches and tears along the faces.

    Developing a joining method to form a gas tight seal between a sintered stainless steel component and metal tubing.
