You still pay infinity times more than I do..
I'm maybe the only active one here from Eastern Canada.
Country is about 50/50. I live in a hick town, but there are still lots of people who hate it, including me.
I personally don't live in an igloo, and it was 25 degrees outside today. That is (25(9/5) + 32) degrees to all of my american friends out there.
Plus the junk Hobbit said about us not being like America at all. Parts of Canada (Toronto) I've found to be more like America (Florida) when I visited. People were more rushed, weren't polite, the such.
Other places like Maine, and the northeastern states in America, I've found to be more like Nova Scotia, where people are laid back, polite (in general compared to Toronto) and it's more rural.
I've been out to Alberta once (almost close ish to Hobbit's neck of the woods) and found the people there to be very friendly as well. Same goes for Winnipeg, I was there once and the people there were great.
The only part of Canada that I find is more like the US is Ontario (sorry to my Ontario friends, there are obviously exceptions) because the general population couldn't care less about you, where in the other parts of Canada, the people are more friendly to total strangers.
oi, oi oi! thats steriotyping! only toronto is realy like that. if you come to my home town, K/W area, people are really nice! Even the environment is waay different then the us, lots of trees everywhere, and not those stubby 10 ft trees, im talkin about 100 ft trees.
Ontario is actually really nice if you give it a chance. Don't be a hater![]()
NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN
If you can look past our crummy drivers, frigid winters, humid summers than yeah, Winnipeg is pretty decent. Especially outside of the city in rural Manitoba, people wave to you on the highway when you drive past them.
I asked my uncle why people wave and he said the motto off our license plate, "friendly Manitoba".
I had to steriotype! I've only ever been to Ottawa and Toronto. Both places are very unfriendly compared to my hometown. I know that many people are nice, but the point was that only a small percentage are inconsiderate.
I was only there for a day in between flights XD. The highways are big in the city. We only have 3 lanes at most, and only in a small spot. Most are twinned or single lane (one in each direction, duh)
The thing about where I live is that everyone knows everyone. We all wave to eachother all the time. I just found the whole atmosphere of the place to be really cool compared to Nova Scotia, which is why I liked it.
this is turning into a U.S. versus canada thread....
AWESOME 300 parody.
AND then watch this cool RC car video I made, in HD, then watch the other vids I've uploadedProud owner of "Efferator" my totally boted main account!

I'm Canadian, Canada's awesome, except for when my pet polar bear runs away![]()
lol its normal, it does also have a lowish population, but that population is like 99% along the us and Canadian border because the northern most parts of Canada are harsh and less inhabitable. It can be/is one bitterly cold place.![]()
You must not live near Canada, do you? I know you're in the states. I forgot to look where exactly before I clicked quote.
I actually live south of Maine. In Canada. So consider Maine, New York, all of the northern states. I am technically as south as that. Also considering that I live on a peninsula surrounded by the ocean, we have warmer winters than those places. So let's be careful before you call Canada a "bitterly cold place" unless you are also calling the US a "bitterly cold place"
Also, you do know that Canada is bigger than the US, right? The "most northern parts" of Canada that are uninhabitable are actually inhabited. By inuit people. The territories (Yukon, Yellowknife, NWT) are all inhabited by other people too, not just native tribes. You must have been exaggerating the 99% rule, right? Because right along the border probably has about 5% of the population. Near the border has more, simply because of the huge border. I consider myself to be far away from the border, but a 7 hour drive can put me into the US. The US is tall and skinny, while Canada is like a long penis, with a big bush on top. And proud. (Terrible analogy skills are terrible)
Garret you make a lot of generalizations about the US, and you don't even know lol...you claim we are unfriendly and the such, but that is just in huge cities(hmm just like toronto). You should visit my hometown. Everyone knows eachother, is kind to eachother, etc.
/end of us/canada discussion.
Isn't it cold up there in your iglos?
Maybe i should not say anything, my friend thinks that i own a huge reindeer farm![]()
Canadian for life, parents hated the snow so we moved to Texas complete opposite![]()
I've been many horrible places in my life (iceland, a chiniese gold farm and f***ing CANADA!) i tell you ...
Canada got 4 seasons, allmost winter, winter, still winter and road work ...
So tell me, how do you establish internet connection in your igloos?
btw, your beer tasted like ****
Sure, and im the queen of england ...
As previously stated, I had to make generalizations of the people in the cities and suburbs and small towns and random places that I visited in the US. I must say that the area around Tampa Bay is very unfriendly. Orlando too. Which is why I said this. The Fort Lauderdale area, however, is very friendly. I'm saying that the general area around where I've visited is more unfriendly than the general area in Canada that I've visited.
I in no way said the following statement
"Canada is more friendly than the US"
I don't believe that. Almost every person here from the States is very friendly, and I love them
Cartmann obviously didn't visit a good place in Canada. I live in NS and I'll tell you that our springs are 75 degrees. Summer gets up to 90-100 some days. Fall is chilly, and winter gets down to -32 (-32 for my american friends) and lower with the windchill on the coldest days. But on average it's just above freezing (32 if you dont understand). The one thing I will agree on is the road work, followed by road work, road work, road work, road work, until you go crazy.
MY IDEAR:
Turn your big f* forest into something usefull!
IMO : A big truman show wannabee! (just the real deal instead!)
With all the inmates of america, realease them all in the middle of the boreal forest. And place arms, drugs and girls (100.000 males migth get lonely, this is a good currency!) randomly with clues all-over the place.
This will ofcourse be transmitted 24/7, with livebet options.
