    Default My Windows Fail

Haven't had this happen for a long time.

Does anyone have any idea on why that happened?

Also, has anyone here managed to make any artwork out of this?

I love it when that happens! I haven't had that happen to me since XP SP1!

Run some diagnostics on your computer, also run this

This always reminds me of winning solitaire and trying to fill the whole screen with cards.

Thanks hobbit, I'll check that out. My laptop is really messing up lately. Right now, any textbox or link I hover over my mouse goes crazy and rotates through all the available mouse icons ...

No, it just looks like some sort of rescue program from Kapersky.

Kaspersky Rescue Disk , a bootable DOS Based Kaspersky Antivirus to perform virus scanning and remove viruses on Windows without booting the operating system first. Using Kaspersky rescue disk to remove anti virus consider the most safety way without risking your computer OS getting infected again.

Linux isn't always the solution for everything..
Both XP and Win7 run excellent for me, with no crashes since I've installed them. Linux, on the other hand, doesn't support my graphics card very well, and crashes two or three times a week. So for me, Windows is the best option. People should take this into consideration before telling someone to "get linux" every time he has a simple problem.

I also found Linux also had a hard time supporting my drivers, and just about all website / people you ask for help assume you already know everything.
XP is running awesome for me, even though I've gotten so many viruses on it (I knew when I was downloading them, I just really wanted the program) and after a few scans it runs fine.

Apart from Graphics card issues, I have found that GNU/Linux supports every driver nicely. There are no Gfx issues for users with an Nvidia card, and the issues with ATI cards are getting resolved very quickly ( relatively ) with the new FOSS driver. It doesn't support full 3d yet, but it's getting there. There's also KMS support soon.

About your Windows fail, I think it is a video card/driver issue (hehe)?
It doesn't seem to redraw all windows but your active one.

The best way to contact me is by email, which you can find on my website: http://wizzup.org
