    Default Finding a game's SWF?

    Hmm, I'm asking so many basic questions lately I should be ashamed lol... that or just join the IRC channel (hm, not a bad idea I must say..). Oh yeah, anyways.

    Is there any, relatively easy, method of getting a Kongregate games SWF? All other SWF's have been overly easy, but with Kongregate, seems to be a heck of a lot of tinkering to do

    There isn't an easy way to do this with programming (might be, but I couldn't find it.. Since it kind-of loads in a frame)

    Open firebug, search for SWF. The one you're looking for is the one you'll find in a very long string (FlashVars param). Then you'll need the first part of the string. It will look something like this:

    "game_swf=http%3A%2F%2Fchat.kongregate.com%2Fgamez %2F0001%2F4871%2Flive%2Fgemcraft-kongregate.swf"

    EDIT: Might even be better to just search for "game_swf="

    Replace the "%3A" with ":" and "%2" with "/" and you're good to go. This will be the result string: http://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/000...kongregate.swf

    Woot, thank you nielsie95. You rock, I totally forgot about Firebug. Now that I remember Firebug, TamperData would probably also work nicely.

    Course, I already have both installed.. /facepalm

    If you don't have access to the internet, you will not be able to play swf's from kongregate. They are jerks, and added that to all their games.

    Well not swf games use that. I have about 30 games that are on my jump drive that do not need access to the internet such as Bloons TD, Line Rider, Stick War, Age of War, etc.

    You can always try decompiling flash games to unlock them.
