    Default Virtualbox and OS X

    Hi y'all,

    Basically, I need OS X for some applications. I wouldn't like to install it physically, so I was hoping I could run it in a Virtual Machine.
    I've been trying this for while now with VirtualBox OSE 3.0.8... To no luck. (Using iATKOS.)

    I've heard VMWare works, and I guess I will use VMware when VirtualBox simply isn't able to do it yet. I've been reading and searching for awhile, and most forums said it isn't supported. But then suddenly Hobbit said he had it working on VirtualBox. And we were using the same torrent...

    Any suggestions?

    I have had a torrent 99.9% done downloading and it thought it was finished.. then the file didn't work all the way.. did you make sure your torrent was completely downloaded? Also, are both of you using the same OS? I don't see that mentioned.. Can I assume Ubuntu?
    1. Check what you were running at the time.
    ----make sure you didn't have something running that would fail the install/operation of said program.
    2. Check what Hobbit was running at the time.
    ----make sure he wasn't running something that would improve the install/operation of said program.
    3. Have a nice cup of tea... that always helps me...
    ----the tea helps me stop and concentrate better when I go back onto a topic/problem of some sort.
    On vacation in NeverLand,
    Code:
    typedef int bool;
    enum { false, true };

    Torrents were identical, we did a md5sum, so that can't be it.
    OS - Yeah, Linux... Run several distro's, but this was done on Ubuntu.
    Hobbit used VBox (OSE?) on Windows Vista/7.
    I prefer coffee.
