Yes, it's Windows, so it must suck!

@Nava: Every OS has tons of similarities, because people are used to a certain model of user-interface which is therefor adopted in some form by every OS...

Windows 7 runs more smoothly than any OS I've ever used, I agree that Microsoft hasn't got a reputation of making the most stable software, but with Windows 7 they certainly got the job done right... Not claiming that Linux sucks or anything, quite on the contrary, these last 2 years the Linux distros have greatly improved to a point where they are very accessible to the average user with way better driver support and stability... It's just a matter of choice, but just saying Windows sucks because you can is pure ignorance, you can bring up the whole Vista argument and what not, but Linux wasn't always as stable as it is today either...

Saying Windows sucks because I can is just exercising my freedom of speech and following my personal belief of always telling the truth.
By reading this signature you agree that mixster is superior to you in each and every way except the bad ways but including the really bad ways.

I have tried it, and it was shit.
It isn't ignorance, it is my opinion. The whole ``Windows Experience'' to me is simply ruined. I'm not saying it is very sluggish, but the software for it sucks. Having to look for free (as in no price) software for it is often a pain, and if want to use anything that generally works ok, it usually costs. And if you don't want to pay, you have to go over 100 of serial and crack sites, with annoying (porn) ads. Besides from it being illegal and whatnot.
Having to scan every file I download, etc. I just get so tired and annoyed when I went back to it for a few hours... I really couldn't stand it.

But that's just my opinion, and you're free to have yours.

Just installed W7 on my bro's PC. 21 minutes, 37 seconds; not bad for a windows install!

@Freddy: It's okay, windows fanboys just aren't 'in' nowadays..

Just wondering, what changed from Vista to Win7 besides the shell and having less room to draw in paint?

They removed lots of (useless, memory hogging) stuff that was already in Vista. Even the Win7 Kernel is version 6.1. (Vista was 6)

Possibly, but it very closely resembles Vista.
