    Default McAfee vs Scarprerelease

    McAfee : 1, Scar : 0

McAfee totally deleted my SCAR file today after running a scan.
    >> Anyone know how to keep this from happening again?

Oh, and does SCARprerelease have a trojan?
Because it popped up with like 5 of them on there. >>

    No it doesn't.
And McAfee shouldn't have won because it deleted them falsely.
Also, try using a different AntiVirus .

    I had that before Avira.
Switched to Avira and I think it's better than AVG.

Don't use AVG free, it doesn't have a firewall.

    Try ClamAV or Bitdefender free.

I do not use anything, running windows vista for a year, and I do download random porn files to watch.

Guess I'm just lucky, or know how to pick my random .rar'd porn files...

    I hate Avast!.
It's very annoying and stops everything and like locks files.

It's just false positives.Mcafee has alot of them, and the last scan deleted like 40 of my files without giving me a choice?

    Avast is good.
    AVG is good too.
    Norton is also very good.

Panda internet security is also an option.

For the free category, Avira is FTW...

For the Pay category, Kaspersky is unstoppable.

Or you are already infected and just don't know. This is the case with more than 25% of Microsoft Windows users.
