    Default Any silent mouse alternatives?

Alright, I've been away from the scripting world for a long time, so I'm having to get used to SCAR again. Previously I had written various scripts, including my most complete script which was an AutoFighter with the ability to talk back to other players (Sadly it was a little buggy and never got finished), but I was never exactly an expert.

Anyway, I've recently become interested in bots and SCAR again, and I've seen that RS2 now has two pretty successful bots that allow the user to do other things at the same time, as one creates a virtual mouse, and the other directly injects itself into the RS2 client.

The problem is that these bots are fairly limited, as writing scripts for them can be more frustrating due to the new approaches they use. Also, with each and every client update, the bots and their scripts often need to be changed completely.

SCAR holds a great advantage over these, however, with the detectability of Silent Mouse, it also has a huge disadvantage - the inability to do other things while a SCAR script is running. This is the reason why throughout my whole scripting career I never once autoed on RS2, as I spend a lot of time at the computer, and the main reason that autoing appeals to me is that I could devote my attention to forums/MSN/other games rather than worrying about clicking every two seconds on RS.

So that leaves me with a question - Is there any relatively undetectable alternative to Silent Mouse? If not I feel I will most likely take it upon myself to write scripts for RSBot, however I would much prefer to use SCAR if at all possible, and I definitely feel I would learn much more from the community here than the community over at the RSBot forums. (No offence, there's some cool people there, but the site is not as well maintained as this one, so there are a fair amount of scammers, trolls, and general idiots there.)

Also, as this is my second post here (though I registered nearly 3 years ago), I'd like to say hey to everyone, and I hope to get to know you all soon

find a tut that teaches you how to include SMART. it does pretty much the same thing as Silent Mouse used to do, but not as detectable/ not detectable

Yeah I just read about SMART, I can't believe I didn't notice the whole section on it already. Thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for, and it means I can stick with SCAR.

Edit: An unrelated problem that is probably solved fairly easily. Previously when using SCAR I used the default SRL download within SCAR, rather than using SVN. Once again when I installed SCAR I did this, only I decided that SVN would be more practical. The only problem is, now the SVN option is greyed out, and even uninstalling/reinstalled SCAR does not change this. Is this due to me having selected to use the regular download method the first time? Or is this because I use TortoiseSVN rather than a different SVN program?

Also if anyone knows a fix for this, please let me know, it'd be nice to actually start scripting again now but I prefer to get the basics out of the way first so I don't have to worry about them later on.

    Thanks in advance.

THE best tutorial for setting up SCAR:

I'm sorry the process is a bit difficult and buggy, we are working on making it much simpler and user friendly :/. Don't give up, dont leave us!

Haha don't worry I'm planning on staying. Ah, thanks, I read a different tutorial before, this one uses TortoiseSVN so I should be able to do that fine.

Anyway, since this is my first thread here, I'll introduce myself. I'm Matt, I'm 17, and I'm from the UK. Recently I've started playing RS again as I must admit it's really fun high. That reminded me of the old SCAR scripts I used to write, and I lost a lot of money on RS recently (You can ask me in PM for the whole story, not gonna bother posting it here), so I decided I'm going to write scripts and actually put them to use and see what sorts of experimental accounts I can make with my scripts alone (e.g. pures, tanks, summoning tanks, etc).
