    Default Banking routines broken?

I can't get any of the following to work:
    OpenBankFast('db')
    OpenBank('db', False, False)
    OpenBankQuiet('db')
    OpenBankNPC
    OpenBankGlass('db', False, False)

The mouse will move around looking for the appropriate spot, but it will never find the right spot and click to open the bank. It will even hover right above the banker like it is ready to do the deal but it just never will.

So, my question is, am I doing something wrong, or are these functions just busted?

As a workaround I'm trying to use the color picker to choose the face of the banker and use that to open the bank, has anyone used this method? I'd appreciate any hints or help available.

Are you using Scar 3.23 Beta (scarprerelease)? That fixes the UpText and it should work.

    @benjaa:
Its having your SCAR folder SVN checkout to
"http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease" in order to have the latest/prerelease version of SCAR

Meh this is cooler, and its not that hard, after you set the URL all you need to do is Right Click>Update. Easy . Its much better and more efficient!

    ya

..something is still not right with my UpChars...
    it's not picking up..

i've tried deleting and re-updating, then set simple tasks...but its not working
ChooseOption is working, but nothing under IsUpText is
including OpenBank and simply hovering an inventory item

Why can't the SRL and SCAR and Reflection be combined into one update package?
That way everyone will stay on the same page.
It seems like it is too hard for everyone to keep track of three different core components each with it's own revision number.
Since I'm sure no one here is still on dialup, I don't think it would be too much of an speed inconvenience for anyone to download all three at the same time if they were all in one installer package. It would also eliminate the nonsense with moving the plugins all around.

Scar rarely updates, SRL Updates Often, Reflection Is broken Anyways

All you need to do is right click a folder, and click Update (3 times, once for each thing)
Cant get much easier than that?

Well I realize that, and when I started I did get it done sucessfully after two or three tries, but the fact is that it could be made much easier and simple for newbies. Take a look at any of the threads on this board. It usually starts out "blah blah blah isn't working for me" and the answer is always the same, "Make sure you have the latest version of..." then their response to that answer is always confusion as what they need to update and where they get it from, so that is an obvious indicator that there is a problem getting everyone on the same page. Combining everything into one package seems to me to be the only surefire solution.

In addition, SCRIPTS need to have adequate comments telling the date when the script was written and what versions of SCAR and SRL it was designed for. I would guess that less than 1% of scripts have that info.

I'm sure someone could whip up .bat/.sh file to checkout everything together.

To your info point, I agree. Also I think all progress reports should contain the rev #s. Maybe a function that script terminates and instructs users to update if it detects they are below the minimum revision, but that's probably not needed if the minimums (or revisions confirmed to work) are stated clearly at the top of the script.

I have a version checker in the beginning of my script and when the new version is out the script automatically updates.
