Default Need a failsafe for decending the ladder at ZMI altar

I'm having problems with the ladder on the way to the ZMI altar, once in about 20 times, the Mage of Zamorak or whoever that guy wandering around the prayer altar is, will walk in front of my mouse right as I'm about to click on the ladder to decend. So I end up talking to him instead of going down the ladder. Anyone have any ideas on how I can build in a failsafe?

    Thanks in advance!

Right click and choose "down" or whatever it is?

No, sorry if I was unclear, I need a way to check that I really decended the ladder. If I didn't decend, I'll rotate the camera view and try to decend again.

Doesn't it say something like "You have descended the laddder." in your chat box? If so, you could just search for that.

I don't understand what more I can tell you. I click on the "climb ladder" spot but about one out of twenty times it doesn't work. How can I check to see that I have decended the ladder?

No, it doesn't say that, but you know what? I just realized there is a wandering banker at the bottom of the ladder so I should be able to check too see if there is a bank symbol on the minimap, right?

What is the best way to do that?

Unfortunately, there are so many people crowded around that banker that the dots obscure the bank symbol, unless I lower the SymbolAccuracy down to 10%. So I don't think that is an effective way. Anyone have any other ideas?

instead of clicking on the ladder with the left mouse, right click the ladder, even if their is an npc in the way and then use 'ChooseOption' to make it choose ladder. this should make it work every time.

That's what I suggested earlier. And that's not what he needs. He just needs to know if he's gone down.

I'm pretty sure there is some part of the minimap is black or something.. You could do a search for that.

but if he does right click and ChooseOption then he will almost always be down. he should use this, and a failsafe like you said, find a color on the minimap.

You are correct, this is the best option, although it doesn't really look "humanlike".

    Thanks for your help...

Do not think that the only way "humans" play is the way you play. For example I like using the option menu pretty much when I play.(although I mostly auto)
