Default Hard puzzle for you guys

DISCLAIMER: I am not sure if this is possible

Alright SRL here's a puzzle that I am stumped on... Lets see whom (if any can get it).

Now here's the how the game works:
    • There are six boxes (See figure 1).
    • Three of said boxes have "x"'s in them (see figure 2).
    • The placement of the X's are up to you! (The don't have to be like figure 2 just an example)
    • Each box with an x has to have a line touching each box without an x
    • Lines cannot cross
    • Don't get to frustrated
    • And pics or didn't happen =D
    • Good luck!

    Figure 1:

    Figure 2:

    Example of fail:

(Hope I explained this well enough, if you have any questions ask)

HINT: Think outside of the box.

    I can't do it...
It's really hard! Always one line that messes it all up!

Take Bobos, but simply have the red line touch the other box...
The jealous temper of mankind, ever more disposed to censure than
to praise the work of others, has constantly made the pursuit of new
methods and systems no less perilous than the search after unknown
    lands and seas.

Done. Note that the lines cannot cross each other, but it never said they couldn't cross another box.

This problem is impossible. At least, it's impossible to connect the houses to the utilities on a flat sheet of paper. In fact, it's impossible in the Euclidean plane (a flat sheet stretched to infinity) and on most other two-dimensional surfaces. Some people have a trick to get around the problem: they send a gas, water, or electric line through one of the houses. Of course, real utility companies don't need tricks. The real world is three-dimensional, so power lines can go over or under each other.

Ironically enough, my math teacher gave this on the final and it was 5 points EC if you could solve it, I explained to her it couldn't be solved and why, and she gave me 10 points EC.

Bit hard to see, but the 3 green lines run along the same starting point. This is the most creative way I came up with trying to solve it and it still didn't work

    You're missing a blue line.

Note the "still didn't solve it" at the end of my post silly Rubix - I posted it purely for giving headaches trying to follow the lines.

As Rubix pointed out, this is the only way to do it while restricted to 2 dimensions. It's easily solvable with 3 dimensions, though.
