Default How much do you make from your job?

This is a thread to post how much you make at you job

I work as an assistant/secretary at a law firm making $17.50 USD an hour. I work 50 hours a week and for any overtime(any time after 40 hours) I am payed in cash (time and a half, so it's $26.25 USD an hour). So weekly my gross (before taxes) income is about $962 USD. That's a fairly good income for a 20 year old imo.

So how much do you make?

Wow BeBe that is amazing income for someone your age. I'm still looking for a job. I was a waiter, made 8.00$ an hour + tips but barely had any hours.

I had an easy job working at an entertainment store (books/music/games/movies/cafe) called hastings.
Pay was crap, but it was a little better than min wage, after 2 years I was making like $6.38/hr I think...min wage is now $7.25/hr though.

At the moment I'm a resident assistant for my university, which gets me free room and board, which saves me $7,000 a year on housing.

that's why I hate paper rounds.

I deliver leaflets for companies such as aldi, lidl, tesco, morrisons.

I only got one big bundle (approx 750) leaflets per week, but I get payed £22.50 for doing them, and it only takes me an hour!

£22.50 an hour is pretty nice to be honest

When I work it's about 20€ / hour. I install cameras and alarm systems. I'm still at school so that is pretty good pay for me, and I usually go install after school or whenever i have time. And I also design / code websites and logos. Nothing fancy, just the basic stuff.

I retired a couple years ago, wasn't very 'future proof' and income wasn't very stable, especially in the economy then.

First (current) job: ~15 euro ( what's the euro/dollar ratio these days? ) per hour. 8 hours per week, and very nice, I'm helping first year students...
Got another job which makes a bit more per hour, but is on more irregular times. Was offered another job at recently, but I had to decline... I didn't have a lot of spare time and wanted to work on SRL and Simba as well.

    E: I'm 19.

I deliver fliers and get ~$13.75 each delivery day. It only takes like 1.5 hours to deliver so it's like $9.17/h. I only deliver 2 days a week though.

I'm also trying to sell web templates at TRiLeZ Templates for $5-$10 a piece... so far I haven't sold any.

Next weekend, I'm gonna try to make money off people with craigslist... we'll see how that goes.

~$16 an hour working in a restaurant serving tables.

And next year, I'm going to be an RA like Brain, and will get ~$5500 over eight months. As well as a reduced residence fee and I get my own apartment.

I work for Hardee's/Carl's Jr corporate office as a Computer Operator (monitor servers, run process on them, watch wifi access points at stores, and a bunch of other stuff). I make $16/hr regular and work 12hr/week unless I get an extra shift. Double time during holidays.

Perfect job for a college student I work 6am-10am so I get it out of the way right away and have time to work on school stuff.

    I don't work...

I have a lot of hookups though but it's all just 8.50$-12/hr stuff and eh I don't want to work so much for minimum wage... "/ I'm a Senior this year though and I kinda just want to chill for a while because 9th/10th/11th grade were pretty hard.

Yep pretty much the same here.. If I setup server or fix stuff at a good company $100 hour is about right
