From the FreeRice FAQ
Cough cough >.>Couldn't I just write a computer program to play all day and give a lot of rice that way?
There are two problems with this. First, it overloads our servers so that real people can't play and learn. Second, without real people playing and the resulting company sponsorship, no money would be generated and we could not give any rice at all.
Well, you technically didn't write a program to do it, you wrote a script for a program to do it. I'm totally using the script anyways, just not going to use it too much.
Yeah, as long as you don't run it for too long, you shouldn't have a problem. But don't run it for hours on end, or you won't have done any good at all (and may have actually hurt).
