    First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist;
    Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist;
    Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew;
    Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out for me.

    For the record... RSBot is 100 times better than SRL. Sucks for macroing.

    SRL < 9000 < RSBot

    RSBot has the entire power of object-oriented java, plus completely reflection... '
    Honesty one line of code to walk from lumbridge to falador... perfectly...

    not hours and hours of making dtms.. and and bitmaps... and and :'(

    We can have that too. Someone just have to make systems for it (mixster and I have been trying to.. Search for SPAMS and World Walker)

    well i find it bad to that rsbot isnt no more cause in theire it was much easier to make a rock crabkiller theire. I see that reflection isnt 100% working here so I dont know if you can make on here but i will try. (btw. im b-warrior from btekkcrabs and rsbot so yea i know how hard it is to make a crabkiller without some reflection and mostly colours)

    Don't kid yourself Metagen is right, from strictly an autoing point of view. Only the best scripters with the greatest amounts of time can make some of the things that reflection/BCEL can do in color. Even then it would likely be inferior.

    @dorkythedork: Reflection is completely broken, since no one has been able to fix the TileToMS function (I suppose you could use it to walk, but it's not really worth using it if you're only able to harness 10% of its power).

    Guess what morons, those who populate RSBot generally have the IQ of a rock. Yeah, it takes 1 line of code to walk from lumbridge to varrock. Do you actually LEARN from doing that?

    Are OOP concepts actually used in RSBot?

    Why do you use those concepts when the game of runescape is actually formost linear in play. What is the point of using non-linear programming styles when the game play depicts otherwise?

    Who fails now, hum?

    By the way, 10$ says those who come from here go farther in life based on the fact that they learned more concepts than those at RSBot who learned for monetary reasons. We learn because we want to learn, and are facinated by it. We are in it for the *right* reasons.

    So I think its great RSBot is down, it will show who is really key in this system of RS macroing.

    Nobody said SRL sucks for not being able to do the things RSBot used to be able to. Everyone said that, in terms of autoing, RSBot was better. And finally, people who are going after Runescape bots likely do not have their future life in mind for whatever reasons (if you want to get a head start on your future when you're barely a teen, great; don't force everyone else to, not everyone is as smart and logical as you). I do respect your opinion that RSBot going down is good since it means only those who wish to enhance their intelligence by using more complex programming techniques will survive, but don't go calling us morons for giving an opinion coming from a different point of view.

    ^^ I'd love to start a flame war about society and stuff, but I shan't.

    I'm glad RSBot got shut down. I still don't see why rscheata didn't, since Erik and Mark got a lawsuit.. Oh well.

    Up...down... I see Metagen saying 'SRL < RSBot; sucks for macroing' and me confirming that he said it

    Guys, trying to get someone to see the light won't work, so shut up, or at least take it to the debate section. Anyone that is smart enough to see it already sees it, and anyone that doesn't see it won't be able to no matter how much you try. The best thing you can do is go make your respective projects better, and let the projects speak for themselves.

    Scar is for learning purposes. Rsbot is NOT. Speljohan said it himself, that its a "leechers bot". People had more bans from Rsbot then Scar the past year.

    hopefully there wont. but chances are that a lot of post-RSBot leechers will come over here and leech. thus i wish we made ourselves private ASAP (like now if possible ). but that is just my suspicion.

    now i dont fully understand why people are still saying "RSBot is amazing!" Sure, it was a good bot, that is why so many ppl used it; that is why so many ppl leeched it. But what good do those comments do? If you are still all obsessed with RSBot, please go down with the ship and leave.

    Current members are here for mainly one of two things: furthering their scripting ability using SRL, or wanting to be a part of the community (or both). When you still continue to praise RSBot (and say SRL sucks), it sounds like you are not here for either of the previous desires. If this is the case, please leave, for you will prolly hate it here.

    Whell i dont think rsbot isnt for learning purposes i learned alot of java theire and it was great to make complicated scripts. But im not saying its better or something just saying it was easier to make bots in rsbot.

    really like that quote

    and I wanted to try to see if I could make an RSBot script since lots of people here used to say they suck and I wanted to see for myself but I never got any scripts working so I never got to making my own :/ guess I'll probably never get to try to make an RSBot script now. oh well, I never really liked RSBot anyway, I just wanted to see how good/bad they were.

    I think we should keep in mind that SRL could be taken down for the same reasons as RSBot was taken down (judging from the iBot lawsuit documents). The only reason they went first is because they were creating a bigger dent on RS. My point here being is that don't put RSBot down just because they were closed down; the same thing could just as easily happen here.

    @x[Warrior]x3500 - Nobody said SRL sucks.
