Default How do you improve lagg?

Okay here's pretty much what I know about my laptop.

    3gb Memory

    Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T3200 @ 2.00 GHz

If there's any thing else that you would like to know just tell me what and where to find it :P

So I was wondering I could improve lagg on computer gaming. Right now WoW laggs pretty badly. I was wondering if I needed to buy a $100 video card or more RAM. TBH I have no idea. So thanks for any and all help

Specs of your graphics card would help a lot. Its probably not really strong enough to run WoW smoothly.
I think you have enough RAM / Processor speed for WoW.

Windows 7 wouldn't really boost your video card performance (although most things are better than vista )
What exact model of laptop do you have? you said something about a $100 video card, do you already have one in mind? I highly doubt that you will be able to simply install a video card (or even swap yours out) since you are using a laptop.
Such is the major draw back (imo) of laptops, crappy customization and upgrade ability.

:] Yeah dude, i think you have the basic poo poo crap graphics in your laptop. Nothing really special, so you will definitely need a better graphics card, but like Brain said, its kinda lame/hard/weird to change a gfx card on a laptop, but not impossible.

Also, click on the graphics tab on the side and screenshot that too.

And also I don't know if I'd feel comfortable installing a new gfx card tbh. Do you guys know if radio shack or the geek squad would do it for $20 or something?

Also I have a dell inspirion 1525 laptop. Does anyone know a good gfx card that would fit and be better than mine for >$200?

Geek Squad is a total rip off, never go to them.
Try looking for a privately owned comptuer shop around your town somewhere, that would be the cheapest I'd guess.

Hmm, you meet all of the minimum specs:

(Except GFX card). So yeah :].

That's about as much as I can help you, hopefully other people can suggest better/possible GFX card options for you! Good Luck.

Thank you very much, you were a major help!

I'll look into a new graphics card for my laptop but if anyone is really good in this stuff and could help me find a good one I would be really grateful

Again, I highly (very highly) doubt that it is even possible without significant modification to change the video card in your laptop, since it most likely integrated into your motherboard.
It would be cheaper to buy a new, better laptop than to have a custom modification made to allow you to change yours.
