I personally love them. I'd only want a full sleeve, probably nothing else. Maybe chest/abdomen. I wouldn't know what to get, though.
Anyone else like tattoos? Or if you've them, where/what of?

I've always though tats were interesting. I might get a small one eventually, when something perfect hits.
AWESOME 300 parody.

Don't wait too long.. It'll make it all saggy even sooner. That's why I'm worried. But hell, I'm 16. By the time it gets terribly saggy I'm sure someone will make some thing to make it not sag or something.

or just get the tattoo when it's already saggy...
and wth? I'm not that old...how old do you think someone has to be till they're saggy? like 24?!

You said eventually..I dunno. Maybe when you're like.. 60 you decide to. And getting it while saggy.. >_> When I picture that, it seems like they'd just puncture the skin and it'd be noooo good.

NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN NYAN
Just for you R0b0t... I did my first tattoo on myself when i was about 6...I was reading National Geographic, and decided it wouldn't be that hard to dip a needle in ink and start poking...I still have the scribbles on my knee...I started in underground parlors when i was in my teens, getting more bad tattoos from people with home made guns...when i turned 18, my Mom payed for my first professional 1...A Rose and banner on my shoulder...almost 20 years later the banner is still empty, I let them write their name in with a pen and be my Queen for a night, but come morning, it wipes right off
I started my first apprenticeship to become an Tattoo artist at 19, when my friend grabbed my arm and started free handing the Bio-mechcanical nightmare on my right arm, what better way to learn, then watch someone do it on you as they explain...I did all right for quite a few years, until I had an accident that almost severed my right hand...10 years of rehabilitation and I have almost all functionality back, but still no feeling...
After 50, I quit counting, but some of them I have collected are from famous artists I have met thorough the years...
"Sin City" theme on my left arm includes, Dice, Rabits Foot, Hot Rod car, Cherries, White Zombie figures, Sacred heart with Chromed out Hemi...
Right Arm, Bio-Mechanical, 8 ball cherry bomb with fuse, portrait of the Devil with Jesus above it, and some pitch forks...
I have a Coop devil on my left neck (Alibi) and an Angel on my right neck (Conscious)...
I have a pair of Colt Peace Makers on my chest, and a collage of snakes on my stomach, with 1 snake that goes ALL the way south and allows me to wear that shirt
As far as piercings...I use to have a card I carried when I traveled by jet, because I set off the metal detectors![]()
Is that really you?
And damn. I should have you give me a tattoo. x]
How awkward would that be? haha ^^
I really like tribal tattoo's, I've googled one;
I might get something like that. I like it. But then just on my shoulder.
@RAM, those look nice man, fits with you![]()
I'm contemplating having a big tatoo covering most of my back. The only problem is that it's going to cost me loads, and I need to find a proper tatoo artist, as this tatoo is one that is to be worked on for as long as I live (or just as long as possible :P). So far, the idea is a morbid-themed classic theater stage where symbols of important events in my life are tatooed on the stage in order to have a 'performance' of my life the day I get old. The stage itself should represent Life to Death in one way or the other. It's just an idea and I'm not even sure if it's realistic until I speak to a tatto artist.
I knew I'd become a geek the day I laughed myself to death after googling 'recursion'.
That sounds pretty cool.![]()
Tattoos and Photographs, Dead Skin on trial.....
All my tattoos mark trials and tribulations in my life...when I look at them, I instantly remember where I was or how I felt at that particular time in my life....which is good because my memory is shot
"Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good"...save your money, and get the best artist you can afford, not many things come with a "Lifetime Guarantee"...try visiting a Tattoo Convention, this is the best place to see different styles and meet artists that generaly don't come to your area...
I'm sure you'll find an artist that would be more than happy to work with you, considering you wish to give them a lifetime of work...The artist that did the majority of my work was also a good friend, our friendship grew stronger the more hours I sat in his chair...I use to keep a standing appointment and every Monday night he would scar me as much as he could in 2 hours
If I had it to do over again...I would definitely only tattoo my upper legs/lower torso....1, I like the Shock Value when I meet someone and I am wearing a full suit and tie and the next time they see me in a T-shirt, their jaw's drop..2..even though tattoos are becoming more mainstream, there is definitely still a negative stigmatism attached to them, PEOPLE WILL STEREOTYPE YOU ! 3...Identification..Ever tried to rob a bank in the middle of summer while wearing a Turtleneck ?![]()
tbh, tattoos make you look like a druggie...
lol
Nah, that's unfair. Tattoos far from make you look like a druggie. As RAM says it does tend to categorize you as some sort of stereotype, but a druggie? From my point of view tatooing is just another way of expressing yourself. Some get tattooed to remember certain things in their lives, pay tribute to someone/something or just for the sheer hell of it. Most people I know only have tattoos that represent an important part of their life. It could be religion, family, hobbies or whatever really, but the one thing they all had in common was that there was a story behind each tattoo. There are always exceptions, of course.
Oh, and RAM; I actually never thought of attending any conventions. I'm definitely going to look into that. I might just get lucky and find the perfect guy/guyette for it ;P

Quick, it depends on what it is and who it is.And how you classify the very general term, 'druggie.' Because just about everyone has taken a drug in all of the developed countries. And many third-world countries.
