In Italy they wear scarves in the summer (all year round) to prevent the wind from hitting their bare neck, which is thought to cause death, and people will yell at you for something as small as opening a window on a bus in the summer, because it lets the wind in.
They also never walk bare foot on wooden floors (or something) as it causes death.

These were told to me by my Mormon roommate, who spent 2 years in Italy on his mission.

I <3 my fan. Ive used it for 6 years (it barely works now :3) and I haven't died yet, although I live in Canada and it's generally cold here all the time. I just like the background noise more than the cold air, my house is creepy when you can hear the cracks and gargles...

I sleep with a fan on, but only on VERY hot days where it is hard to fall asleep. But it does have a timer on it, which I normally set for 1-2 hours

I constantly have a fan running, either my ceiling fan or my box fan windows and doors open and shut and I'm still alive. I think it was thought up by parents trying to save money on the electric bill by scaring there kids into turning off there fans and it just kind of grew out of proportion.

    This scared me a bit....

I am addicted of the sound of my fan. Its just for the background noise ... I cant sleep without it well I can but I need to get used to it again.

I didnt understand the hole article but Its only deadly if it passed some kind of warmth on your room ?

Agreed. A fan got me through the week after I saw paranormal activity.
