    Default Help with mousekeys script.

Hello, I am trying to script a mousekeys setup with scar.
This is legit (has been confirmed multiple times by jagex), as long as 1 key press=1 click.

    As example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=de6p3FxjzL0

You may see, someone already scripted something like this, but I don't like the Scriptbuck junk on facebook and this is why I'm trying to script something similar myself.

    Now my questions:

-When I press a button, it seems to write too. How would I disable that? I only want to use the keys for mouse-movements; not for writing.

-How would I save a mousekey setup (external)?
    -How would I load it?

-I have the function IsKeyDown('key'), it returns me if "key" is pressed or not. How would I find out if any key is pressed down, and in addition which one it is?

I'm sure there will be more questions as I get further in my script.

    Thanks for your help!
    ~Swiss

Yes, what I'm trying to do is something like:

You have unf bolts and feathers, 2 inv slots.
You press 1, your mouse switches to the 1st inv slot.
You press 2, your mouse switches to the 2nd inv slot.

Up to 1.2m fletch xp/h possible like that.

There are so many more uses for this.
But here comes the best, they are legal, as long as 1 keypress=1 click.
    Sounds amazing doesn't it?

Still need some help though :S

Only bad thing is that it will most likely get you banned if you do it for hours.... Why? Because it is not legal in runescape.

So you want it to click one then the other repeatedly?

I think I follow, but the easiest way to do this is to make a script to just mouse and click them. Do you have scar and srl already?

Zyt3x, as I stated above this is NOT illegal.
I will search you a qfc where it's stated it isn't

Btw, the program from the movie is developed by a pmod. Fair enough?

I'll edit the qfc in when I got it.

[edit] Oh btw aran, I don't want a bot script, I don't feel like getting my main banned. I have scripted some macros for other accs, if I wanted a bot script I would already have made one

[edit2] Haven't found a mod post, but I saw one and I'm 100% sure they're legal. Just browse the official rs forums and you'll see some posts.

I wont believe it until you post one :P
It's still a program that automates tasks on runescape

Well I know for a fact mousekeys is very legal. I don't think any program that does an action after pressing a hotkey is though.

If you wanted to make a script that mimics mousekeys, your best bet would be to have the script actually use the numpad keys. If Jagex sees your mouse moving 150 px instantly every time without you pressing any keys (implying your not using mousekeys) then they would most certainly ban you.

Mousekeys may be legal, but acting like it sounds like it'll get you flagged. Mousekeys really resembles a bad script thrashing about. Now, I imagine on review, the other humanness aspects of a mousekeys user saves them. Your script won't necessarily be as lucky.
Wow. I've been gone a very long time indeed. So much has changed.

I use mousekeys all the time. Lots of people do.

Well sure, but you also do other realistically human things. I think a script pretending to be mousekeys would draw too much unwanted attention, and then be unable to be humanlike enough to make up for it.

Not really? How hard is it to realistically mimic holding down Ctrl and pressing 4, 5 and 6? Not hard. Setting up human like mouse movements is leaps and bounds over emulating mousekey usage.

I don't mean the emulating mousekeys part. I mean the rest of its behavior. I suspect anyone who does a lot of fast clicking, or otherwise unlikely patterns, gets some sort of flagging. Now if you're human and you get flagged this way, all your other actions will make them realize you're legit. But if a bot gets flagged this way, that's going to be a big problem. I'm not saying emulating mousekeys would be hard to do. I just think (and hey, my opinion/suspicion, because I have no proof) that it's riskier than just clicking regularly.

Picture of mod saying they are allowed:

Will edit a part of my script in, scar seems to crash there all the time :S

Omg lol! I'll make a script for typing the keys and let scar macro on mouse keys and then when I get banned I appeal with "I used mousekeys! and I remember Mod Mark H saying it was allowed! "
