scar download via svn (Error 400) fix

Well i have had problems downloading scar via svn
i have tried proxy's (They don't work) well for me the didn't work

NOTE: This will only work if ssl is enabled

if your getting a error 400 example:

Server sent unexpected return value (400 Bad request) in response to OPTIONS
request for 'http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease'

then your probably being blocked by a proxy, before you read the next bit
make sure you disable any firewall you have, if you don't have a firewall
your most likely using windows firewall its turned on by default
to disable it click start -> control panel -> windows firewall then click off

Now make a empty folder then do svn checkout on it

in the box where you place the url change (http://) to (https://) like:

http://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease

To

https://freddy1990.com/svn/scarprerelease

then click ok and scar will start downloading

As i said before this will only work for servers which has ssl enabled
and srl don't so it wont work

i would like to add a suggestion for the dev's/admin to enable ssl
to be able to download srl using https://

if anyone has a quick fix to download srl please post here
