    Exclamation FFCFoo Needs Help Thread!

    Hello, Since I need help with alot of scripting and other stuff I don't want to keep posting threads about them. I will keep posting things that I need help with or need to understand, I am counting on the forum to help me out with my noobie scripting!

    Okay first thing, Is there some kind of code to be able for the script to type in things. So first it clicks on a couple of things when it reaches to a certain spot I want it to type some things, I know how to make it click and everything but I do not know how to make the script type things then press enter or if SCAR is not able to press enter then I will just have it click something. Thank You For Your Help!

    Well every time I try to run my script it give me an error! Here is my simple little script:

    SCAR Code:
    program click;

    procedure Click;
    begin
     wait(5000)
     ClickMouse(467, 914, True);
     wait(5000)
     ClickMouse(309, 344, True);
    end;

    begin
      Click;
    end.

    Error:
    Code:
    [Error] (7:28): Type mismatch at line 6
    Compiling failed.
    EDIT: Nvm I fixed the problem. I am now using simba.

    EDIT:

    That does not work:
    Unknown identifier 'TypeSend'
    EDIT: Once again I figured it out xD

    Nice to see you figured out most of it. But do you have a certain goal in your mind? Like a script with purpose?

    In a runescape script don't ever use ClickMouse or MoveMouse, try using SRL'S MMouse, or Mouse

    Exploring the SRL folder in includes.

    Okay, So this is not for Runescape. Entirely different! So I have Steam If you know what that is, when some one messages me I want Scar to react to what I put. But I know how to do this but I just want to know if there is some kind of code that can detect when someone messages me and it reads what they say and if it matches one of the sentences I put in the code I want it to give it an answer that I inputted in the code. But if the sentence that they write does not match anything I have written for answers then it returns with 1 message and then it waits and it does it all over again. Sounds simple but I do not know how Scar can detect the sentence.

    Hard to do. I would suggest something else (like C++ or something).

    Using Pascal/Delphi might not be possible for this. I know that there have been attempts for years, but the way that most games use the mouse is quite odd. Sorry. :<

    Also, PM me Steam name?

    Oh, I just read "Steam" and assumed it was for a game.

    Umm.. You'd have to get some nice OCR. :/ It wouldn't be the easiest thing to do.

    What is OCR? Also, I thought I saw in this one script where it auto typed when a person said your name?

    PM'D You my steam! This doesn't mean I still don't need help! xD

    OCR is reading text and what not (to put it quite simply). You would have to get the font from Steam, like we do with every character from RuneScape to be able to read it, and then save each character into a folder and load the fonts up to use this (unless there's a way to intercept messages, then it'd be quite easy). I think there is a tutorial about making your own fonts somewhere..

    Or, read about extensions for Simba and make a packet sniffer?

    ^ I was gonna suggest that but I dunno. I think it'd make things quite easy and very sexy.

    A general packet sniffer where you can select what sockets to sniff would be very good, I would know many usages for this in many other projects also.

    ^ Maybe you could make it? Didn't Cazax make an extension for Simba for proxy support? Maybe he could.

    Would require some work, and I'm not quite sure this could be done cross-platform that easily. I'm not even sure how extensions work, I haven't had the time to study them just yet, I haven't had any need for them just yet.

    Cross-platform compatibility wouldn't really be a priority. Simba isn't even cross-platform compatible, so there's no reason this would need to be.

    Still, it needs some kind of include for the sockets and stuff. I don't think MML has capabilities for such actions. I mean, one could use C++ to make a plugin, and then make an extension that uses the plugin and creates a nice interface for studying the packets.
